Why is everyone here asking for Morrowind creatures and the Dwemer? If the game is in Skyrim, then the latter had fortresses in the eastern mountains, and it would be perfectly possible for those places to have Dwemer machines. However, there won't be any Morrowind creatures, or at least not any creatures that were in the game, because of the rugged terrain of northwestern Morrowind and the fact that any creatures we saw in the game are probably only found on Vvardenfell, besides the ones that people can train.
I don't know why everyone wants things from Greek and Norse mythology, either, as you can find that in any other fantasy game (yes, most of the ideas in the Lord of the Rings are from Norse and Gaelic mythology). And, besides, it's not Greek and Norse when the game designers have changed it. I think Bethesda should be more original; it's not hard. The Greeks and the Norse managed it. If they must use a real culture's mythology, do something that not many people have heard of. Not Greek, not Norse, not Gaelic, but the Picts, the Native Americans, or the steppe tribes. The Picts have provided us with a large amount of ridiculous animals through their art, and historically they even managed to breed some of them. They were mostly just different animals stuck together, some real, some from Pictish mythology; Bethesda could easily come up with their own.
