Magic effects

I Would like to have Levitation. Something like telekinesis, but can be used on corpses. If you became ruler of a realm (like SI), you could change the weather. Reanimate to be able in spellmaking but as half as "expensive" (magicka cost per seconds, and required skill level) as paralyze. Dark should be able to use. Something that shoots an item in a specific direction like forward, backward, and left or right. What do you think should be added, removed, or altered?

I'd like a force push style spell. Something to get you out of tight situations. For example, while being surrounded by enemies, you push them away with your force push(whatever the name would be).

It would be cool to add some more elemental style spells, like wind(it could be tied to the force push), not sure how they could implement earth elemental spells, but they would be awesome.

I think they should improve the detect life spell, like maybe you should only be able to see their haeart, or some kind of aura surrounding them. Also, the nighteye kind of got useless in my opinion. It should have made the NPCs brighter than the surrounding objects.

Maybe you could cast spells onto your weapon, sort of like a short-term enchantment. For example, cast a fireball on your sword, it gets a flame enchantment.

While I'm on the subject(this has been discussed before), make the enchantments on weapos and armour more noticeable. Make small flames around the swords blade to let everyone know the weapon is enchanted.

I want all the destruction magic to be the elemental spells. Damage health, damage magic, and damage fatigue are too lame for destruction magic, I really want to see the magic be visually impressive. Damage magic needs to be included with mysticism, and I suppose damage health could be a restoration thing. Damage fatigue too.

Also throw out things like weakness to disease as castable spells, nobody has time for a disease to bother the goblin they're fighting. I'd like to see the magic better defined, not like the current system where it seems like half the spells are lazily strapped onto the skills.

Something related to both of your posts with levitation and force style pushes, Schnell Olfy proposed a skill called Dynamism that incorporates most of Alteration along with levitation, telekinesis, and powers like the force push. From Alteration it would include; Open, Shield, Water Walking, Feather, Burden, Slowfall, and Jump.

Slowfall. I miss being able to glide casually over the landscape after jumping off of a cliff. Although 1 slowfall did remove the threat of fall damage...

Also, sanctuary would be nifty. It could make characters wavy and ethereal looking based on how powerful the spell is. You could solidify when hit.

Jump was good too. Its like acrobatics for mages.

Lock should also come back. If guards were chasing you, you could run into a building and lock the door. Of course it would only be a matter of time before the guards open/smash the lock. Magical locks set by the player could also provide no increase in security if Beth wants to prevent cheap skill ups.

Lastly, the interventions and mark/recall were great, but only if fast travel is limited to boats and such.

Advanced telekineses spell lines for object/actor movement manipulation.

1. IF used on on objects - Pick anything of small-medium size up and fling it at NPCs with high velocity. Basically HL2 grav gun. Can also be used to steal items from far away.

2. If used on NPCs - Push and pull individuals. Amazing for spellswords who want to pull someone to them and slash them apart.

Heads up, http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1149160-spells-and-magic/page__st__180, though it is on its last leg so it probably won't matter.
