Game Informer Can't come soon enough!

Post » Wed Dec 30, 2009 4:13 pm

So I've subscribed to GI for about 5 years now. I've always been a fan of the mag but now that they are covering my most anticipated game ever I am foaming at the mouth. So glad I added this yearly sub for 15 bucks about 5 years ago. Well worth it I must say!

Can switching to Geico really save you 15% on your car insurance?

Are utterly unfathomable random product advertisemants completely "for the win?"

I dunno.

My bet is that they'll talk endlessly about the new engine and controls and very little about the plot itself. We may have brief screenshots of landscapes and people walking.

Even if the article isn't that impressive (which I'm sure it will be) I'll just be happy to see some screen shots, and once the magazine is released I'm sure Bethesda will show us some gameplay videos on their website.

Yeah, I don't know why magazines are released like that. Ah well, bet it was a pleasant surprise, though! ^_^

It's based on when the magazines are pulled from the shelves, not put there.

ie. the Jan issue is removed from the shelves in January and replaced by the Feb issue, which is pulled from the shelves in February.

I want gameplay information. A few screenshots, mainly of interesting (not secret) locations such as a large town or nice terrain, but not too much of that. I'm mainly interested in controls, AI, skills etc.

Do something. Go out to a club, get your dance on, get your drank on, holla at a few girls. My first job is being a casanova and 2nd job is being a (closet) gamer. I'm doing fine waiting for this issue. :jammasterjay:

I hope they don't talk about the plot, I doub't they'll even get to demo any of the mainstory anyway.

Not by Game Informer but one of the BGS staff mentioned they will be getting it in another form. (I'll assume it will be whatever the major EU gaming rag is.)

OXM, Official Xbox Magazine, probably. That's good to hear, I hate USA getting all the exclusive content and us English fans being left out. :[

We would have had alot of info and pictures of Skyrim by now if it wasn't for GI paying Bethesda $$$$

All they need to do is have a full page listing things that will make us happy. Like "2 blade types (Long and short blade) and separate blunt and chopping weapon skills" and "The return of pauldrons!"

I'd also love to see some info about changes to magic and the like. I can has levitation?
