Realistically yes, a sheltered individual like the Lone Wanderer probably would have a few issues as a result of his or her experiences in the wasteland; however Fallout is not a series that focuses on realism and thus the Lone Wanderer becomes an army conquering action hero in a matter of days as opposed to a psychological wreck in need of years of therapy.
