Post-Patch Blues

I just got the Platinum Trophy, so cool right, well not reallly

When I first installed the patch my game stabilized but after I acquired a few more quests and found some more locations the game became just as buggy if not more so.

Trophy Glitch: The Courier Who Broke the Bank
This trophy did not pop. I had to go back and redo this 3 times before it finally popped, took about 5 hours. The Blackjack tables at the Tops were glitching to where the tables and cards disappeared but it was still accepting my bets.

And this is a major problem:
I realized that towards the last1/3 of the game, when you are doing the main quests, after you've found most of the locations in the map and have done whatever side-quests you felt like doing; the game becomes almost unplayable. Between the freezing and load screens, I realized that out of every hour only, approximately, 20 minutes was a actually being spent playing the game. This is absolutely unacceptable.

The most upsetting thing is that all of you new exactly how F'd this game was, but its the same arrogance, the same unscrupulous practices that were so apparent when Fallout 3 came out. But everybody gave you a pass because Fallout 3 was and is a masterpiece. New Vegas is not. It is flawed conceptually and in the end it will only be remembered as the mediocre follow up to 2008's GOTY.

And that folks, is truth.
