New to game. Level up question.

Post » Sat Jan 02, 2010 10:18 am

I understand I think how the skill levels move along to attribute levels. I have a handle on the idea of getting 5/5/5 needing 10 points in each major skill, and 10 points for each attribute related skill set.
My question is can I get 10 points in combination on two skills to get 5 or must it be across all three skills.
My example is
Attribute Endurance.
Major Heavy Armor 4
Minor Block 6
Minor Armorer
Does that get me 5 in Endurance like
Attribute Endurance
Major Heavy Armor 4
Minor Block 4
Minor Armorer 2
Would get me 5 when I hit 10 total in my other two majors.
I could just play to find out but I would waste a level doing it and I've done the first area like 8 times now.
Thanks for helping !
Sam.

If you get 10 (or more) increases in any combo of your three endurance related skills during your level, you will have the +5 for endurance available to you. It makes no diff if the skills are major or minor for attribute gains. :)

So the first example I gave works as good as the second one does.
Thanks for your help.

Sweet. That gives a little more freedom in game play. Some skills like mysticism seem impossible to level up at level one.

If by first area you mean the tutorial, a trick to spare you having to go through it time and again isto save the game before you exit the sewers. Then whenever you want a new character you can just reload that save and edit your race, class, and birthsign.
