I hate Talos, mostly because him (and Akatosh) have pretty much dwarfed the other Divines. In Oblivion you rarely hear prayers to, say, Zenithar. They're there, but very rare. The Imperials ought to streamline their pantheon into Talos and Akatosh, because that's all they really care about. It sickens me, especially when the former turned Cyrodiil into a forest and the latter's avatar helped bring about one of the most cliche'd finales to a game, ever.

Oh, favorite Divine? Julianos.

The 9 is still on a rocky foundation, because it's a shameless attempt at combining two pantheons that don't agree. You got the nordish part, which makes out the elves to be idiots and pro-humans, and you got the elvish pantheon which can't see farther than the mer's own nose. Also, they probably dwarf the others in Cyrodiil, because Talos was a colovian/nord/??? and people tend to view the colovian part of him. As such, he's going to be more important in Cyrodiil than other areas. Akathosh also dwarfs everyone from the brainwashing of Alessia's pathetic religion, and the fact that he was put on high pedestal with the amulet of kings. Though I do agree with your general sentiment, the others were pretty background, and I would have liked it more if there was a better attempt at expanding the 9 nine religion and diversified the priests, temples, and worshipers.

Morrowind had the "Imperial Cult" which unified the entire Pantheon, which is understandable when you're trying to send missionaries into one of the most xenophobic and traditionalist subcontinents in all of Tamriel. If temples dedicated to individual Divines were to try and convert the native Dunmer, it'd be quite difficult, so there I can sympathize with their unity.

In Daggerfall, has the Divines splintered into separate temples and worshippers throughout - many even bitter enemies with one another, understandable as High Rock and Hammerfell have come to accept the Divines to such an extent that the religion easily spreads and fragments, much like Christianity. You'd think this would be the case in Cyrodiil too... :read:

Then again, High Rock and Hammerfall had very fragmented societies until the very end of DF, then the powers that be were more or less 'friendly' in that they were not planning on trying to start a war with each other at the current moment.

I voted Talos because he seems to be the most relatable, being born a mortal and all.

The Daedra are really good for when you get bored with the Aedra, and the Aedra are there to run back to when your dealings with the Daedra inevitably go bad.

Arkay. Life and Death. I've always worshipped Arkay. TES games have always been mostly about killing. Beasts and people. So it makes sense. How could you play as a follower of Stendarr, of Mercy, when the games don't even have non-lethal combat possibilities? How can you show mercy to anyone?

Edit: In TES5, I'd like to see quests for the Temple of Arkay to go bless newborn children. And of course, bless the ones who have passed away.

No, Yffre is one of the earthbones, who stabilized everything when people turned to plants, then air, then rocks, then ooze, then back to people at random. If anything Yffre, along with Kyn, is Kynareth in the 9. The wood elves revere Yffre among the highest of their pantheon, and tap into him for the Wild Hunt.
