Hit them where it hurts..

posting how disappointed you are on these forums and requesting refunds and credits will not cause Bethesda to act with more urgency.

Start going to popular boards like gamestop, yahoo, IGN, etc and start warning people about not buying the game because it's simply broken. Ive already stopped a handful of my friends from buying the game. Its not a lie because its true.

I assure you the only thing that matters is the bottom line and once sales figures start falling below expectations, that's when you'll see much faster support and better quality controlled products in the future.

I think they do care about the fans, but that opinion will change if they don't issue some kind of updated statement about this DLC glitch soon. I know it will take as long as it takes to fix it, but they need to tell us something. I expect something via their blog or here on the forums tomorrow on Moday, the start of the work week. As it stands all we know is that they think this only affects a small group of 360 users. That is false.

they are probably saying it only affects a small group of users as a damage control measure..im sure they know how bad the messed up but that still doesnt change the fact that a lot of ppl are pissed..with good reason..

Whats with the attacks on legitimately ticked off customers?

We have purchased something that at best is very buggy and at worst deliberately misrepresented.
Personally I like what I have played of the game (just like all Fallouts) but I'm seriously ticked off that all xbox pre-order codes in Australia are invalid and yes, the games only been out for a week.

Im pretty sure everyone knows about the bugs by now

No need creating 50+ threads a day, about the samme issues

I deleted a post. No flaming. I understand some of you are frustrated with game issues, and others are frustrated by seeing a lot of threads about game issues. Just keep it cool, okay?

The more threads the better in my opinion. I don't care about you people being annoyed with reading them, don't read them. I just don't want the developers to be able to look at this forum without seeing 10 threads about the DLC missing glitch that makes all save files unusable. A lot of people seem to think that update fixed this, it didn't and i don't want the developers to think it did. I'm going to create 5 more posts about this tomorrow.

Amen Pierce!

Raise our voice and if they try to shut us up here, then raise it louder everywhere else.

ps. Not saying make 100 new threads but geez, do keep the important ones at the top.

You're exactly right. They have to be able to read about the issues to know about them. They also have to see how emphatic we are to be motivated to work 100 hr weeks to fix these problems ASAP. Am I being unreasonable? You can be a chill dude with a cigarette dangling if you think it gets you chicks but sometimes to effect change you have to express anger. We are not trolling when we do this.

And thanks for unlocking this thread btw.

This is a legitimate problem. I understand that bethesda is not completely to blame. YOU HEAR THAT OBSIDIAN!? regardless I think its time that we show game companies in general just because half of the worlds gamers are brain-dead monkeys were not gonna sit idle while were spoon fed untested garbage for 60-80 bucks. I dont know if its just me but I paid good money to play a game not beta test it for the company. And if thats the case we all should get compensation for checking THEIR errors. When that patch comes out im not going to be grateful im going to say "about damn time". That save game DLC is a game breaker and as such the game is shelved till "patch time" whenever that may be. anyone got these views too?

exactly, every game has glitches, bugs and issues, but this is indeed a game breaker imo. It literally makes the game unplayable and this is a monumental oversight by whoever is to be held responsible. Not being able to identify this during their lengthy testing (or lack their of) and having their customers point this out is just beyond me.

I promise you Bethesda's next game's first-week sales will suffer. There's absolutely no way people are going to risk this happening again. I've never been a fan of gamespot.com but I commend them for being much more truthful about the seriousness of the technical issues found in this game than many other review sites. There's no reason to own this game until it is fixed. Next Bethesda or Obsidian release I will most definitely scour the web and take any technical issues presented much more seriously.

Get the word out there. This game does not work. Do not buy it until it is fixed.

Bethesda has pretty much taken the Steve Jobs approach on bugs. Then again at least Apple gave out free bumpers.

I agree with all the discontent present in these forums. I never expect a game that has just come out to be free of glitches. It's not feasible in the present day process. But for a game to come out so utterly riddled with them as to be half unplayable for so many people, it's a joke. Don't get me wrong, I love the game and haven't had a lot of the issues others have( I didn't download the dlc yet and I haven't frozen yet). But I have had many of the same quest glitches and increasingly painful load times. I'm not going to get all crazy and say "I am getting my money back" because I don't want it back. I want a game that works and I guess I'll have to wait for that from Obsidian and Bethesda. The saving grace is that Fable 3 comes out tomorrow and I'm pretty sure they have had more time to test their product out. And I'm pretty sure that with the next big release from gamesas, they had better do a much better job of quality control. Even if they do, though, I doubt many people(myself included) will be rushing out to pick it up the day it comes out.

Thereby creating clutter on the forums. Forums, that believe it or not, the developers read to find out about these issues and track them down. If everyone posted in one thread per issue then it would be a LOT easier for them to fix these issues.

But by all means, keep being angry and not caring about cluttering up the forums. Then with your next breath curse Obsidian/Beth for not fixing the game fast enough.

Let's cool it a bit guys. Whilst there are legitimate complaints about some of the bugs, creating more topics like this will achieve nothing other than giving the moderators more work locking them.

The Bethesda and Obsidian teams are reading the forum, checking out all the bug reports and working to get them sorted and patched. Just creating more of these kinds of topics is not helping - although I understand that it gets it out of your systems.

Thanks guys.

I do hate to be the one to point it out, but its not the job of the gaming community to point out all of the bugs in a game this bad. I understand that they are taking our feedback, and trying to fix what they can, but at what point do we say 'if were going to beta test, we should be on payroll?'

Its sad countless amount of people have the DLC bug including me, they said during testing they have never encountered this problem? all the people with thousands of problems with the game makes me think they didnt even test it at all, dont get me wrong i love their games but this is just wrong, for one people are now losing their xbox's due to having to restart every few minutes because of freezes and etcetera..now have red ring of death,
they might as well remake the game because the patch to fix all these problems would be about the same size. i dont like being cheated out of my money the only thing i have got out of 60$ bucks is a case and a broken disc, i will at least be happy if they can fix the load save file problem i put 37 hours into this game and i will not start over so i hope they can fix that at least.i appreciate that they are taking these problems seriously and are working on it but why not avoid this in the first place by having a fully tested game and everything ready before releasing it in the first place,i just dont get it.
anyways people please dont take me so serious im just venting i work hard got bills to pay and just dont have money to throw around like buy a new xbox because this could fry my machine.
all im trying to say is that when i invest in something i expect it to live up to its expectation's.
