Crysis 2: The Never ending network connectivity problem.

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 4:11 am

Ok. Crysis 2 came out last year and this is getting ridiculous. Some people are online and playing and alot of people are not. *sigh*

I think everyone knows the problem who plays on PC but when I try to log in to Crysis Multiplayer (I bought the Limited Edition and I can't access the rewards ) it says "Please check your network connectivity".

I know I won't get any help from ANYONE at Crytek.

Here are my details for my Computer:

Anti-Virus: McAfee AntiVirus Plus (Windows firewall is partially disabled)
Software: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-Bit)
Router for Internet: Virgin Media Super Hub (I know it won't be because of my internet but just in case)

My other problem is as I have been shown on videos is that if you go to firewall settings (Inbound and Outbound Rules) Crysis 2 is not shown and I can't do anything!

If someone could help it would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Add an exception to Windows Firewall for complete access (internal and external networks; ingoing and outgoing connections) for Crysis2.exe.

Now look at the file \Crysis 2\Support\readme.txt

Forward all the ports it lists ( excepting port 80 ) to your machine's LAN IP via your router.

This should fix the problem.
