The Commonwealth and DLC

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 5:05 am

There are more than one Add-on for Fallout 3. We have The Pitt. We have Operation: Anchorage. We also have Point Lookout and Broken Steel. We even have Mothership Zeta. Why not have the Commonwealth as an Add-on. This Add-on will take the player to the commonwealth in Massechussets, the home of Dr. Zimmerman and the android, Harkness. It is where Dr. Li went to when the Purifier was started. So why can't the player go to the Commonwealth to see how Dr. Li is doing and have a few more missions, even if it is to help the Commonwealth.

I think it's a bit late for an official Bethesda DLC, unfortunately. I like the idea, but I think the only way you could get something like this would be to have someone make a mod for it. :-\

Fallout 3 is several years old. There simply is no chance in hell that Bethesda is going to ever release anything for it ever again.

Even for Fallout New Vegas it has been confirmed that no more DLC's or updates will be given.

Because the commonwealth is too far north, it would take days maybe even weeks to get there without proper transportation.

It takes a month to get roughyl half way there (The Pitt) so I would guess it takes two or more, which wouldn't have been a problem.

Fallout 3 is now four years old and DLC was done about three years ago so you're kind of late.

Dr. Zimmer and Dr. Li made the trip with little problem. Clearly they have some means of getting there safely.

That's not the problem, the problem is that Fallout 3 came out in 2008.........
