i used to have no problems running fallout 3 and all the dlcs on my current computer. i went back to playing it after a layoff from the game and it was constantly freezing up. i tried reinstalling and still am having the same problem. the controls freeze up and on rare occasions the game freezes up. i have done the multie core fix. i don't know if it is a windows update problem, or a video or sound card problem, or a wireless keyboard and mouse problem.

nothing i have read has helped. referring me to another thread will not help without a link, because i have spent hours over days reading up on it.

i have an ati radeon hd 5700 series card. realtek high definition audio. please, i would apreciate any constructive, useful advice.
