So I'm at the final point in ED-E My Love where you get ED-E back after basically selecting how you want him upgraded. I waited until I got the notification he was back in Primm. I enter the Mohave Express office in Primm and ED-E is there waiting for me. The quests completes immediately. His appearances has changed based on the upgrade picked.

However, the quest log does not update it's final point, "ED-E's upgrades are complete." This remains unchecked. Also, about 5 seconds after the quests completes, I suddenly gain 100 EXP.

My question is, has the upgrade actually taken place for the ending? And why did the final point in the quest log not update? I've restarted the quest and picked the different upgrade each time with the same result.
