How can i gain reputation with Brotherhood Of Steel? : Fallout: New Vegas

I need to gain reputation with Brotherhood of Steel. Every time i get near them they attack me because i attack them by an accident and i dont have proper save that could load me to the time before i attack them. So i need to gain reputation with somehow. Please help!

If you are on PC you can try the following console command, it should reset your negative reputation with the BoS back to 0.

~ (opens console)
SetReputation 11e662 0 0
~ (closes console)

EDIT: In console you have to use the faction id code (11e662), in a plugin you would use faction RepNVBrotherhood.

If you have Lonesome Road and stop the ... you know whats ... from launching it is worth some major + reputation with the BOS and the FOTA.

You don't need to save...once typed it's in there.
Just close console and Viola !

In all seriousness, completing "Still In the Dark" "Eyesight to the Blind" will get you near Idolized.

Which unfortunately means you don't get a perk. Also if the fame I got from the legion for nuking the NCR says anything, he might still have to fight them

Try what Drake said, If a faction is aggressive against you and with the worst reputation it's impossible to otherwise fix the problem.

Best solution though is to save often on different slots, especially on the PC. You might want to try this as well http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/36730

you could always learn to live with the mistake you made and ride it out......or just start a new char.

You definitely get a perk from "The End"

It's called "Divide Survivor" and you gain one S.P.E.C.I.A.L point, just like you would from "Bear Slayer" "Scourge of the East" or "Dead Man's Burden"

Hack into the terminal in the pod chamber, then activate the self-destruct sequence. I know, I know, it sounds like they'd hate you, but you totally won't regret it. :cool:
