Argonians the first ones to arrive in Tamriel

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 9:17 pm

So I was thinking of all the races that have been in the Elder Scrolls series as far as Tamriel goes and I wanted to discuss who couldve been the first ones on the continent. I personally believe Argonians were the first ones because the Hist shaped them to what they are in the current games. The Hist were or are supposedly sentient beings themselves so maybe they were the first ones there instead and maybe they are a group of gods in themselves. Any one care to share their opinions?

Ehlnofey and the Hist were the first ones to exist on Tamriel.

Dragons aside, but they were on Akavir first

EDIT: Dreugh were here first, but they cheated via being here last kalpa.

Dragons aren't from Akavir, they ruled all of Mundus before men and elves came about.

The Dreugh were never on Tamriel, they were under the waters. It's a tie between the Ehlnofey and the Hist.

That's a land dreugh, which actually isn't related to the water dreugh.

Oh, I never knew that. I guess what Sotha Sil said in 2920 was wrong,

Wait, I think I'm wrong. I was misremembering this text: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Brenus_Astis%27_Journal which theorizes that they are related.

They almost certainly came later, as distant evolutionary descendants of the Dreugh. At least, that's what I think.

According to the novels the Hist were from Oblivion. So who knows who came first. Although the Dreugh seem like the best bet to who first roamed Tamriel.

No, no the book does not. In fact, we still have no idea where they come from, or what's their deal. The book only raised more questions than answered in that regard.

I think you will find good sir that the Land Dreugh is a larval form of your basic water Dreugh, at a certain age they crawl up on to land and chill as land creatures for a bit, and unless nasty adventurers murder them they later come back into the sea as an advlt Dreugh. Thank you and good night.

Yeah, I've already said I was mistaken.
