follow player companion script

i've tried the aifollow comand in the results box of dialogue, but it doens't work. Can anyone give me a script that will work?

AiFollow Player, 0, 0, 0, 0

That's all it should take. (The zeros indicate that they're following indefinitely, not for any set amount of time or to a specific location.)

You said this is in the dialogue result box, right?

Something else must be wrong then, because that definitely works. It's a really common command, both in mods and the original game. Just take a look at the "travel together" topic.

Sounds like you're having a heck of a time with this. (Noticed the other thread.) Does this NPC have a script? Maybe that's interfering somehow. Especially likely if the script contains any AiXxxxxxx commands.

haha the npc has a simple script to change clothes, but nothing interfering with this. I managed to get her to follow, but sluggish, so i vamped up her speed. Thanks for the connection, this mod is a real pain haha, alot of ideas from the underground 2 and scarface if that tells you anything..
