***** "Leaves of Y'ffre" by Illuminiel *****
Version: 1.0
1. Description:
A fantasy clothing mod which shows some love to the Bosmer Females.
This mod adds:
- 8 new dresses woven from living vines especially designed for woodland mer
- 1 new NPC complete with fresh dialogue and insight into the lore of Y'ffe.
- 1 new playable female face
- 1 new playable female hair
- 1 new female pants
- 1 new female top
- 1 new Bow
- 1 new illustrated book
- 1 new Bosmer female skin - this provides an optional matching underwear replacement for the clothing
- each of the clothes has a scripted spell that will activate when worn - this is to compensate for them not being enchantable. The spell is mainly useful for those who like being unarmoured and may suit stealthy mages. The bow also has a script when armed and is slightly more powerful than a bound bow - seeing as it was enchanted by Y'ffre himself that is appropriate.

2. Installation:
First create a backup of your save files.
Drag the folders and esp into your Morrowind Data Files folder - a windows message prompt will ask you if you want to overwrite files/folders in that directory - select yes.
This installs the esp file "Leaves of Y'ffre " and new folders into your icons, meshes and textures folders called Illy which inturn contain the subset folder TB. Additional images are added to your BookArt folder.
When you start your next game remember to select the Mod "Leaves of Y'ffre" from your game launcher window.
If you wish to use the new female bosmer skin then take the texture from the WE_underwear replacement folder and drop it into your BB textures folder (remember to save to another location your original BB texture bb_skinf_we.dds

3. Playing the mod:
This mod was built using the Game of the Year edition which includes the added scripting functionality of Bloodmoon and Tribunal, if you have the GOTY edition you do not need to select the Tribunal and Bloodmoon esms to play the mod - if you don't have the GOTY you can play the mod without the expansions it will likely only fail for one script otherwise select the expansions as well in your load order.
Go to Tel Mora and find Tar Bella at Elegnan the Clothier. She will sell you the clothing, as it is made from leaves the icon in your inventory will be a single leaf - purchase the book Leaves of Y'ffre to view artwork of the clothes first to decide what item to buy. All clothing is very reasonably priced and proceeds go towards a winter wear collection.

4. Issues:
Unavoidable issues
a) Clipping - clipping is annoying, long and short hair clips through clothes - sigh ... in the Morrowind community we just live with it or don't use the mod. I normally select short hair for my characters, but still have to deal with clipping around the shoulders.
Armour disappears when underwater or when using Chameleon spells or when worn with some other items - I'll let Tetchy explain this:
"That's a limitation of the Morrowind game engine where alpha channels overlap.
Most modded clothing uses alpha channels, especially when the designer wants parts of the underlying body or other clothing to show (e.g. transparent parts of clothes, holes in clothing, etc). Invisibility is achieved by using alpha channel transparency over the entire player model, and similarly the water plane uses an alpha channel to allow you to see below/above the water surface. Viewing your player in 3rd person across overlapping alpha channels causes the layer closest to the camera to override, so in these cases the full transparency has precedence.
The only way to avoid it is to use clothing without alpha channels - in most cases that would be the stock clothing."
I would add the other way to avoid this issue is to play in first person not third when underwater.
c) My Paper Doll doesn't show the clothing/bow correctly there's all these extra black layers - again this is a problem with the game engine being confused about which alpha (invisible) layer to show - I can't fix it though Hrnchamd can - try reading the official forums on Repairing the Cogs of Morrowind to find an answer or search for the Morrowind Code Patch amongst many other small miracles it will make your paper doll look fabulous - depending on what you are wearing
d) I can't enchant the clothes - correct - I have disabled enchanting on them as they look very odd when enchanted. Each item is blessed and when worn has a scripted spell that will give you some benefits.
e) My bow shows up as black in game - you must be using MCP and have selected the reflect map functionality, Phijama used a method to trick the Morrowind engine into creating golden objects - the bow was too beautiful for me not to include in this mod, unless you have a series of other mods which require reflect maps then I suggest you turn that off in MCP, otherwise just don't use the bow.

Unintentional issues
Modding can create unintentional GMST errors - I built this mod using a clean install of Morrowind GOTY and used TESAME before upoading to check and clean errors of which I found none. While all effort has been made to quality check this mod as with all mods it is use at your own risk.
A safe modding practice is to create a backup of your save files first, please do this before installing this mod. If you find an error or technical issue please post the problem or PM me on the official forums at http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums Morrowind Mods and if I am still active I'll attempt to address it.

6. Usage:
Use at own risk
These textures and models are strictly for non-commercial use.
You may use the clothes as a resource for your own mods as long as you give credit to Nioliv for clothing meshes - and myself for the textures. Mandamus deserves credit for the pixie hair which was created as a special favour for me.
This mod is allowed to be converted to non-english versions of Morrowind - however please included a translated version of this readme. If you are using the other meshes please download the original versions and carefully read their readme's as to usage conditions.
If you don't like this mod delete it, if you think you can do better then please do so as everyone else will enjoy your contribution to the modding world
For additional support I frequent the Great House Fliggerty forums http://www.fliggerty.com and http://princessstomper.proboards74.com/index.cgi as Illuminiel
