I know theres a sticky up top, but I need other peoples opinion on what to do. I have been trying to get into lore, and first and foremost, I need some suggestions of what sections to readat the Imperial Library FIRST, then second, and so on, for me to get a good grip on the lore. Also, is UESP Wiki, a good/and or/great place to start for lore as well? I need some guidance, please... Especially from the Lore buffs... :read:

I'd suggest going to both the hidden library on Vivec, and Jobasha's shop and spend about an hour reading everything.

And, the Telvanni have very good books. Basically, every Velothi tower will have some gem of lore, and Arvs-Drelen is a good starting point, not to mention Baladas lives there.

Well yeah, I have seen the game being beaten all the way through, except my brother was playing. He is the type of person to go through everything at lightning speed, not caring about what is going on, just to beat the game (most of the time I guess anyway), and he likes being super over-powered, and so that's why I don't know that much about Morrowind. I do know some, but not a lot. I've seen about 75% of the game probably, if even that though. I, on the other hand, is a type of person that really likes to get into a game in the TES series, he just over powers, finds ultimate items, and beats the game and throws it down.

I would suggest somewhere in the Morrowind Books section. It is divided up into a few different types of books, so I'd just pick whichever sounds interesting to you. It is really your choice.

The http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=15282 is a good place to get a few basic questions answered. The http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=195079 topic also breaks up important books into subject and difficulty level.

The Pocket Guides http://www.imperial-library.info/pge/ and http://www.imperial-library.info/pge3/ are the best introductions to the world. Then the http://www.imperial-library.info/tsod/, http://www.imperial-library.info/tsomw/ and http://www.imperial-library.info/tsoo/ plot walkthroughs/summaries. Then everything from the Morrowind library. Then whatever you want after that.

Reading all of that is going to take foreverrrrr, but Im all up for it. I love the TES universe, but the only thing I dont like, is being Cunfoozled (confused) :drool:

You likely will be confused. The trick is not to give up just because things don't seem to make sense. Give it time and just work on (something different). Eventually, things will just "click". Oh, and one thing: Don't let anyone tell you what to study or what you need to know. Just do what you like and enjoy and what you are interested in. It's about having fun, isn't it?

Plus, a some to a lot of what is written has the problem of slant, bias, lies, and purposeful mind [censored]s, so it does take some time to digest things. This is also a reason why a LOT of us are pissed at the shallowness that is OB, here in the lore forums.

When will the Oblivion storyline be completed at TIL, anyway?
