How to make a radiostation that dont violates copyrights? are copyrights from 50's songs stopped? so ppl can gather songs from that time and put in a radio mod for everyone to enjoy? how does the gnr mod that adds so many new songs to not violate that copyright etc?

I did that already otherwise I wouldnt have asked, I asked if the gnr sounds are legal , they are from 50 if I am not wrong so are out of copyright or not? I guess not so its illegal mod? Or is it ok to post a compilation of songs with that timeframe?

Try searching on the topic of radio stations, all your questions have been addressed half a dozen times in threads that you can find here.

What I wanted to know is if there is infringiment of copyright laws and as it seems to me all of those soungs are still under copyright since in US patents they decay after lifetime plus 70 years and not counting lifetime , any song from 40 and beyond should have decayed royalties by the 2011so probably only songs between the 30s and the 40s would be free , isnt it right?

Assuming they were copyrighted that long or copyrighted under free use, which most of the songs from that GNR mod are.

Why are you worrying about other peoples mods anyway when they have little to no impact on yours? If their songs are up there illegally, then report it and it will be taken down. This is not the place to be discussing such things.

I tought was simple to understand why I worry , as the thread name implied , I meant to add some radio station to my Metropolis mod and play some old songs that are not present in those compilations , tought the ones I found are from similar timeframe from end of 30s to early 50s tough as I have read on the wikipedia etc the legal copyright of the songs arent ceased if not after lifetime plus 70 years thuse making all of those songs actually illegal and so would be my compilation , but if is not then I could go furrther and make it , I just dont want to get into legal troubles with the compilations ....

Like i said, possible violations of other mods are not of your concern, unless you suspect them to be illegal, then report them as necessary.

And also like i said, use of songs varies by the type of patent and how the song was released.Check with your source on the legality of use of songs you want to use, as they should say somewhere.

An actual answer to the OP's question:
Thanks to the power of Disney's lobbyists, pretty much everything back to Steamboat Willie (1928) is still copyrighted and may forever remain so, if they're able to keep pushing through extension after extension. The music used in GNR's broadcasts is under copyright and was officially licensed by Bethesda from the copyright holders. The same will apply to nearly all other music from the same period.

There is the information you requested. What you do with it is your own business.

The music from GNR mod so is "illegal to use " wich means that I could as wel l"illegally put sound tracks similar in my own mod " and there is no escape from that all those mods are so illegal ? how then to be able to publish them ? Either I do as GNR did and public it illegally or I avoid it and I skip making a radio station?

No, YOU are not understanding my answer. Whatever songs you use in your radio may or may not be copyrighted, or were released with a "Free-to-use" license. You will need to check with wherever your getting the songs if you can legally use them in your mod. Same goes for anyone else.

Example: Newgrounds audio portal. All the songs released there ARE copyrighted via IP, but are Free-to-Use however you want so long as you credit the original author.

If you still think I'm not getting it. Could you please tell me what I'm not getting?

Thats obviouse and is not related to what I asked, I asked :

are copyrights from 50's songs stopped? so ppl can gather songs from that time and put in a radio mod for everyone to enjoy? how does the gnr mod that adds so many new songs to not violate that copyright etc?

means if I could use as GNR songs from 50 and 40 and my question is how did GNR Radio mod to put in that mod songs that are still under copyright? Is there a way to do that?Since according to what I have read in wikipedia the Us patent cease only after lifetime plus 70 years from publication of the song ... unless special cases I guess...

Ya, I'm not misunderstanding anything.

As said, Bethesda licensed the songs they used on GNR, so they are fine.

And Like I said, 3 times, not all songs fall under that 70 year patent. Again, check with your source your getting songs from if the songs are free-to-use or not.

You mean like this one?
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1418

From the description:
All the sound files are taken from public archives like the Internet Archive's 78RPM Digitization Project, so they should be considered public domain.

Like I also said about this. The legality of other mods is not your business. You you suspect illegal use of songs, report them and let the moderators deal with it.

I think the OP got some useful information, and as the tone of the thread is degrading, I will lock it as asked/answered before anyone else posts.
