While variety is good, I'd say there are other ways to add it. If Bethesda wants to increase the number of playable races in the game, something some would argue over, but I'm not saying whether they should or not, I'm not pointing out some options they'd have if they chose to do so, there are other races still living they could add, no need to bring back ones that are gone. And in any case, having actual Dwemer appear in the game would really not add much more variety, I'd say, at least in the race department, considering that they'd just be another kind of elf, really, and we already have a lot of those. They'd be elves with very different culture from the ones already playable, yes, but still elves nonetheless. Now having Dwemer ruins or artifacts in the game though would be fine, although I'd say we already explored that aspect of the lore satisfactorily in Morrowind, but regardless, if Bethesda wants to add some anyway, I won't complain.
I agree.By variety I meant not just playable races, but variety as a whole.Anything that contribute for this factor I will gladly say - Yes.Just look how dull and repetitive Oblivion was.And by saying that I don't want to start a flame war.Oblivion is a far superior to any other Elder Scrolls game, in terms of graphics, AI and gameplay. But that's it.I just fear that Skyrm may have the same fate.
