The next fallout, please read this Bethesda and Obsidion

Post » Sun Jun 17, 2012 9:08 am

I wish that there would be a way human, super mutant, or ghoul and each would come with its own advantages and disadvantages.

Humans- Stay the way they are now.

ghouls- most humans dislike you at first but super mutants are neutral. Regenerate health when irradiated.

Super Mutants- Increased health, melee, and unarmed but humans and ghouls dislike you. Lowered gun skill and energy weapons skill.

Another thing that would be awesome is having factions for each of the races, like the NCR and Caesar's Legion in New Vegas and each race would have at least 2 different factions and there can be more than 3 races or there can be different sub-races. For the humans, there could be a wastelander class, that has better weapons skills and the other sub-race could be the vault dweller class, that is more of a people person.

A great way to start the game would be making your character with the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. skills and the race and sub-race and then going on to training with a coalition force and then when a giant battle occurs against an unknown faction (and the faction is joinable later in the game), the player is knocked unconcious by a large explosion the player is left for dead and then awakes after the battle and must travel to one of several settlements near by to stat the story and the story is influenced by race and faction.

The location for this game should be San Fransico and the brotherhood of steel and the Enclave should be major factions

Thanks for your time spent reading this.

I don't see why Supermutants would be neutral to ghouls; (Or why Supermutants would have less skill with energy weapons or guns).

Invalid answer. Fallout Tactics more or less let you play as a ghoul and super mutant.

That said, OP, The Enclave is dead and the Brotherhood is on the run in the NCR territories. Also, I fail to see why there would be be effectively six factions fighting each other when logically it'd be three. But on top of that, I fail to see how the ending idea makes sense as well.

Sigh... No. Enclave are dead, why would they be in the next Fallout? The Brotherhood is on the run from the NCR. Or why should the next Fallout be in San Fransico? We were already there. I'm sorry but I agree with nothing you posted.

Why do the BoS and Enclave need to be major factions?

Enclave is dead man, and the BoS aren't doing that great.

The way he explained it reminded me almost exactly of Oblivion. As in the whole post, not just choosing different species as your main character.

Thanks to everyone for commenting and the feedback. The post was just to say what I thought would make a good fallout game. To undead fiend, I enjoy video games and if that makes me a nerd then sure im a nerd but if you're not a nerd then why bother to be on this website?

It is clearly stated that they are Enclave Remnants.

That is true but the way you are looking at the series is that the sequel must be after the last game( new vegas) but the sequel could take place before fallout 3 so the enclave would still be a factor

That would be a Prequel, and Bethesda has no interest in moving backwards on the time scale.
