I started playing morrowind again, but I noticed somthing really odd. All potions so far in game as well as acohol have no duration/effects or side effects listed. They show up such as

Standard restore health
Weight 0.8
Value: 35
?
Am I totally missing somthing or is this a bug? Ive never had this problem in all the many times ive played morrowind.

Your description sounds like your character has low alchemy skill. Potions and ingredients can have up to four effects. You get to see them based on alchemy skill. The threshold points, IIRC, are 15, 30, 45 and 60.

Hmm, I know about the ingrident thing. I Just double checked the alch skill and thats not the issue, skill is 35
