Fine Wines.

So I have an idea. We can make potions and poisons, but we can't make wine. So here is my idea;

With graqes and certain other ingredients you can make wine. This wine would take longer and would require more ingredients to make. However, the end product would be very rewarding in either effects or price. You could "store" the wine in a cellar and ever day/week/month of game days it would go up in value or increased duration and magnitude of the effects. Now sell or drink! Could be the first real job!

Yes, but it should require a decent amount of alchemy to make the wine really good.

Ollix gave this suggestion. Using this the alchemy skill would be much more useful to people with lower gold or those who don't typically use poisons or potions.

I'd like this for small scale in the game, and I'd also like to see a winery be part of a business you can manage on your land in the game, if they have something like Strongholds in the game again. So you're in service to one of the kings of Skyrim, and he gives you some land to make your own fort and town, it would be great if you could run a winery as one of the businesses available.

Shades gave this idea. I really like the idea of this. Wine could be one of your fort's/city's/town's exports.

I would like to make wine. It would be really awesome.... just imagine the possibilities...

Alchemize me some wine spiked with Moon Sugar, distribute to masses for cheap, kill a bunch from Moon Sugar poisoning, become Uncle Sweetshare, get arrested by some guards....

Just awesome.

The Master thief gave this idea. Could be a quest line with wine and other fermented drinks playing a major role. Or possibly a evil way of making money.

It would be cool to be able to make wines, beers, and mead and then be able to sell it. Along these lines, it would be cool if you purchase a house with some land on it and plant some graqes or hops in order to make wines and beer.

This extends upon the wine making.

Whoever voted "Implement Another Way" please tell us the way you would want it. Don't not do it.

Being able to make your own food items would make mercantile more interesting and money making a little easier.

I think they should just have some kind of farming in general, in addition to vineyards.

Wine? You are in the land of the nords, where mead is the sacred nectar of Shor!

Personally I love this sort of thing - I always tend to do the whole hunting, gathering, alchemy thing in TES games (I can play a hero in most RPGs, not having to do it at all and just do other stuff instead is, for me, a major selling point of the series!) and for me it would be a worthwhile addition to be able to extend that to a whole farming, viticulture, brewing, fermenting, and cooking type thing!

I'd certainly download a mod that added it.

I love this idea! I'd also want simillar things with other professions.

And I wouldn't care about the fact that our worlds graqes doesn't grow in the climate that Skyrim is based on ;)

I would love to see something like this in the game. I liked how you could order certain wines from the guy in Battlehorn Castle and you had to give him certain ingredients.
