Meshes Folder

Post » Sun Jan 24, 2010 8:21 pm

I don't know if I put this in the right section but seeing as it involves game files I thought the mod section would be best.

What does a 'Vanilla' folder look like ie. without extracting game files to it? I forgot to take note and now whenever I put a helmet on all mine and NPC's hair disappears and a lot of hair styles look like they got a hair cut from a blind barber.

So can someone please tell me what fles need to remain in the folder?

Cheers

A clean install has no meshes directory, they're all in the BSA's. The engine only needs loose files for sound, video and shader files.

This right here. When you do a fresh installation of the game, there won't be a meshes folder.

Also, try uninstalling the game, deleting the entire Fallout New Vegas folder, then installing again.

Uninstalling only removves the files that were originall insalled. The mods stay there, so that next time you install the game, certain files are still installed and could cause issues.
