Skyrim possible plots.

Post » Tue Jan 26, 2010 12:08 am

ok so i have a few vague ideas about the plot.

im just going to put the major keywords down to see what you all think about it before i post.

Dwemer
(what the **** happened to them? [please dont try to explain i already know the lore])

Numidium
some people do not know what this is, i say get educated!
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Numidium
(what if there is a 3rd numidium hidden in the snowy landscape of skyrim.)

The Heart of Lorkhan
(apparently destroyed in morrowind by the nerevarine, but its the heart of a god...i think not. also what happened to the first heart from daggerfall after the warp in the west?
are there multiple hearts, or was the one from morrowind just a fragment of the originals power?)

Akavir
(the rival continent to tamriel, one of the akaviri empires has invaded in the past, and another one has ambitions of doing the same [after they kill the other]
the Ka Po Tun are the race to fear here, The leader of the Ka Po' Tun is Tosh Raka. He is rumored to be a divine being who was the first of his race to succeed at becoming a dragon
and now we look down to the next part because i think its related. )

Dragons
(driven to near extinction, the only known survivors are of the red dragon flock, the black were killed or enslaved by the tsaesci race of akavirians. the reds are thought to be scattered throughout tamriel. the ones in morrowind were killed off by the cliff racers. the rest are said to have been given refuge by the emperor in hidden locations throughout tamriel. AND TOSH RAKA! the tiger dragon god thing!)

Daedra
(we have not seen the last of them i know it, dagon was defeated but not killed. and also one of the previous dadric princes has been released from his madness JYGGALAG! and also the champion of cyrodil is now the new sheogorath.)

I would like to see some more stuff on the Dwemer, Numidium and the Heart of Lorkhan (or Lorkhan in general, not much is said about him). Skyrim was part of the Dwemer Kingdom after all. But maybe I'm just too in love with Morrowind to let this stuff go...

Skyrim was never part of the Dwemer "Kingdom" if I remember correctly. The Nords inhabited that place very early in history, and defended it well. It was the Nords that was in war with the Dwemer... it was mentioned in Morrowind I believe.
I doubt the Dwemer would ever be allowed to build ruins inside the borders of their very strong and most feared enemy's lands.

Hehe still I'd love to see some, HIDDEN ruins that the Nords never noticed. That would be awesome.
Falmer ruins seems much more possible though... and that could be awesome too.

I bet Dwemer would have built forts and tombs for there dead heros and stuff and the nord didnt notice or didnt care for and left. I'm sure we'll hear from dwemer at some point Skyrim crys out dwemer lore even if Nord defended well that doesn't mean dwemer hadn't fought back well.

Dragons are going to be a must in Skyrim. I forgot the dwemer lore but did they have any special connections with dragons? My memory isn't jogged.

Daedra are going to be everywhere in elder scrolls areas no matter what. There so wide spread. I also think deadra will either team with dwemer or wage war against them. In morrowind (idk about the lore again) they were always surrounding dwemer temples. Never noticed it till remembered scamps and dremora and other things.

I think that Skyrim will show a lot of dwemer and dragon lore. Daedra is always going to stay in any part we go. It should be good.

I'm going to brush up on my lore right now.!

I don't think we'll see much of the dwemer in Skyrim. Morrowind basically answered any and all questions about them, but we might see a few ruins on the eastern border. We can probably expect some of Marobar Sul's BS tales about the dwemer to be brought into Skyrim, along with the text that debunks the validity of Sul's stories.

If the Dwemer Ruins are not in Skyrim, I'm sure that ...someone... will make a mod for it.
And I read that the Dwemer ruled from Hammerfell and High Rock all the way to Morrowind.
From the wiki:
Their ruins and artifacts are scattered across Tamriel, specifically within Hammerfell (mainly in the mountains of Stros M'Kai), High Rock, and Morrowind.
So technically, their ruins could be anywhere...

yeah dude the dwemer were everywhere. Volendrung? you remember that? the hammer that fell? HAMMERFELL?
the empire stretched ALL across tamrel, and im also sure that they are OLDER than the nords, the nords came to skyrim from Atmora, so before they were even in Tamriel the Dwemer could have occupied that area.
and morrowind only gave us more questions than answers on that matter, everything about the dwemer was speculation, there is ONE dwemer still around in morrowind, and hes broken and disfigured from corprus and has no idea what happened.
people say that the misuse of Kagnaraks tools caused them to either DIE or dissapear from this plane of existance.

as per dragons, yeah there is just not enough lore about them. they are important somehow but unfortunately they are near extinct so...yeah.
but the akaviri tiger people are said to be trying to BECOME dragons, and one of them has SUCCEEDED!

Daedra
i agree. they are everywhere.
but i dont know if this is going to be part of the main plot.

I was under the impression that there were some Dwemer Ruins in kind of South Eastern Skyrim.

I'd like to see Dwemer and Falmer Ruins...perhaps some Falmer still around if that at all makes sense.

It does make sense, they were defeated by the nords at High Hrothgar, and they are believed to maybe be in Glacier Crawl.

Awesome.

Hopefully I'll get to run around and smite them. I'd like to see some kind of interaction with them there Orsimer too. Always liked Orcs.

The Dwemer are dead and gone, and it's already explained what happened to them.

And the heart that powered the Numidium in Daggerfall wasn't Lorkhan's heart, it was a soulgem with the Underking's soul in it- an avatar of Lorkhan's.

Just saying.

[explained]
what has been explained, nothing has been explained, it HAS however been SPECULATED!
just saying

and you are right, it was a magical gem that mimicked the properties of lorkhan's heart.
thanks for that one.

The Dwemer of Hammerfell were part of a different faction than those from Morrowind. But it is true there could be Dwemer ruins just about anywhere in Tamriel, but they were primarily in Morrowind and a smaller faction in Hammerfell. In any case, the Dwemer as a race are not coming back. If we'll find Dwemer ruins anywhere in Skyrim it would most likely be in the Velothi Mountains, which are shared by Morrowind and Skyrim. Chances are though, Bethesda would not create a whole set of art and models for something they are only going to use on a few ruins, so I wouldn't expect anything.

I do think the Falmer will play a role in Skyrim, but I don't remember where it said that they were defeated at High Hrothgar? Could I have a source for that? The Ice Warriors of Glacier Crawl may or may not be Falmer, we don't know, but because all this info is so vague Bethesda could take it any direction and discount whatever doesn't make sense as simply being a false rumor or superstition.

The enchantments were broken, and Lorkhan's actual soul-heart is ethereal...

you will probably be the opposition then XD.
i bet there is going to be some sort of war, they wanted to do a war scenario in oblivion but they had time restraints,LOTS of bugs to fix before release date, thats why the final battle only has a handful of people to represent ALL of cyrodil.
lame if you ask me. shame they didn't make us wait.

And as for the dwemer, im only going off of a gut feeling that we will see more of them.
or at least a different tribe of them.
for a plot in SKYRIM...maybe not XD
