uh, its actually highly likely its the game thats at fault, unless 40%(if not more) of the community have faulty pc's?
How can you possibly conclude that 40% of the community is having trouble with this game? Even if 40% of the people on these forums are having trouble with the game, that is not necessarily representative of the whole of people who have purchased this game.
are you seriously gonna ignore that dozens of threads complaining and say oh its just my pc.
It's not necessarily just YOUR PC. It could be a common component between all of you. When Battlefield: Bad Company 2 came out, I had just purchased my ATI 5870 card. The game was constantly crashing on me even though I probably had one of the best cards available at the time. The blame was entirely with ATI's crappy catalyst version 10.2. Pretty much the entire ATI community within the BFBC2 community was having the same problem. As soon as I installed 10.3 1 week after release, the problem was gone.
its quite obvious it has nothing to do with my pc. Quad oc'd to 3.4 liquid cooled, two gtx 260's in sli, vista 64, 4 gb ram, overclocked as well, two WD's in sli raid 0, 1 ssd
Just because your PC is qualified to run the game doesn't mean it can't have driver issues. See above. In most of the posts I've read thus far about problems, people have said that their Nividia cards were to blame.
or my xp 32 system, alot more meager, but still refuses to play the game.
Could be the same problem or an even bigger one.
all im getting at, is its without a doubt not my computers problem.
I'm afraid that is impossible to conclude at this time.
