So, I just completed the vanilla quest to kill just about everyone in the Council Club, got the reward, and visited the club again. As is supposed to happen, the interior has changed and there are a bunch of new NPCs. However, I have no idea how to proceed. I thought you were supposed to buy the club, but I've talked to everyone in it, traveled to Ebonheart and talked to the Duke, and talked to NPCs all over Balmora and no one is giving me any hint at all as to how to buy the club. I then waited a few in-game days and did this all over again... with no new results. I even cracked the mod open in the CS to look at the in-game guide, but it seems to pick up AFTER I buy the club... which I haven't managed to do yet. I must be an idiot, but I have to be missing something.

Also, I was under the impression that the Council Club has an area for the PC to live in. Is this true, or am I confused about that as well?

Balmora council club has a really nice living area with every thing you need and even a arden.

Last time I played, I couldn't get the quest to work either, but you are supposed to buy the club from the duke, and you need to have the 10000 it costs. I don't know if you have encountered another problem.

Don't go to the duke yet. Talk to Larrius Varro.
