The Wasteland Wars: He's Back

Just so you all know, I do not have any of the Downloadable Content, so I do not know much of what happens after the Project Purity activation, so if have a few wrong facts, please, bear with me! Also, I know I often ditch my stories, so I have decided I am going to play this one 100% through.))

The Wasteland... a great example of the term, survival of the fittest. It is here, humanity has fought for its very survival. It is here, we have tried to rebuild civilization, or be swept away in the tides of wars that followed Judgement Day.

When the bombs fell upon America, our nation was shattered. Precious knowledge was lost, and for years, darkness clouded the world. It was before the war, many vaults were built to safeguard those that could afford such luxury. The vaults were meant to reopen after it was safe... something that no one ever would know after the Great War.

However, before being released, many of these vaults performed test upon there own denizens, the Overseers perhaps being the only ones safe. One vault however, never planned to release those that took shelter within its cold walls.

Vault 101... it was here, one of the Wastelands Greatest Hero's lived there childhood, and it was here, this Hero's journey began. The journey of, the Lone Wanderer.

What started as a search for the one man that guided him throughout his childhood, ended in a firestorm of retribution and rage. The Lone Wanderer aided one of two very powerful warrior clans, in a war against a superior enemy, all for vengeance and to finish his fathers mission. His name, Jack.

During his journey, Jack faced many hardships, had many chances to turn back. But he did not, for where one person may of fallen, Jack was determined to surpass. Along his journey, he met two companions, one of which was killed during the Firestorm of Retribution, and one which has loyally been by his side throughout all the years.

After the fall of the warrior's that killed his father, known as The Enclave, Jack had no path left to follow. The very place he grew up in was the one place he would forever be exiled from, and by one that was once close to him. The Lone Wanderer disappeared... but war... war never changes.

Three years after the Lone Wanderer left, the knowledge of how to use vehicles and means of transport was discovered by a very smart mechanist. So began, the war for fuel. The mechanist found two kinds of fuel, one atomic, but rarely recommended, and one known as Black Water. Oil...

The warriors of the wasteland, pillagers, wanted to use this Black Water to fuel there machines of war, and would stop at nothing to achieve that goal. The Atomic way had destroyed many of there kind, and the Black Water was being drilled throughout the entire country by the Warrior Clan that the Lone Wanderer aided.. those that followed Steel.

As the war for the Black Water occured in the wasteland, the Super Mutants brought out there machines of war within the cities. The followers of Steel had there own war to fight, and could barely lend a hand to the Wastelanders.

It has been ten years since the Lone Wanderer first came into the Wasteland, and it has become far more brutal. The only question is, when the war is over... who will be left alive?

Nice intro, mate! That's a lot of italics, hopefully just for the intro though. I'll be interested in this story and following it just by the intro alone. Reminds me a lot of the intro for Fallout 3 style narration.

Chapter I: Shattered Steel

Six power armored figures moved through the ruined City of D.C, trying to be quiet as possible. They travelled near the buildings, the shadow of the night sky not enough to hide them from there enemies. The one in the front set it's back against a wall, signaling for its followers to do the same.

"Easy... frankensteins all over the area." it said, a female voice traveling through a small radio. The other five nodded, four of them gripping assault rifles in there hands, a odd sight for the Brotherhood.

"I smell humans!" a deep voice said from the building above the six, "Lets say we go get food?"

"No. We stay here. Guard this post. Master bringing big truck! Big truck used to gather humans!"

Some stomping could be heard, the sound of someone being hit followed, "They, are NOT, for eating! We eat lesser mutants, and make bigger mutants out of human!"

"But im hungry!"

The leader turned her head to her five followers, assault rifle visible in her hands also. The sixth, a man at the very back, had a mini-gun backpack strapped to him, with a minigun in both hands.

"Lets kill some muties.." she said, before turning across the corner and squeezing off a good few rounds toward a Super Mutant, not giving him the chance to fire back.

"Move move!" a male voice said throughout the small radio, the other five pulling from the wall and shooting at oncoming mutants.

"We under attack! You, get flamer!I go get cannon!" a voice shouted, the female continuing to fire with her brethren, many mutants falling before the Brotherhoods might. A super mutant let out a roar from behind, she turned to see one twice the size of others stepping forward with a massive Super Sledge, though slower, still very dangerous.

"Keep on firing!" the female shouted, three of the brotherhood shooting the lesser mutants while she, the heavy infantry, and one more gunner shot at the large mutant.

"Burn!" a mutant shouted from a nearby building, the woman passing a glance to see him raising what appeared to be a much bigger flamer toward the three dealing with the lesser mutants.

'Get out of the wa-" to late, the fire burst out of the flamer, consuming her brethren.

"KABOOM!" another mutant said, he stepping out of a building with something that somewhat resembled a mini-gun, only instead of firing small bullets, three holes were visible, a rocket in each. It squeezed the trigger, letting the rockets soar toward the woman and her group.

"[censored]!" the woman leaped to the side as the rocks slammed into the building, the blood of her comrades landing onto her armor. She pushed herself up, turning to see the sledge of the big mutant swinging down toward her, and then felt it slam into her chest and send her soaring into the wall of another building, her helmet falling off to reveal a white face with blue eyes, blonde hair, and somewhat short hair.

"Capture her!" one mutant shouted, pointed to the woman. Her vision began to blur as she looked about, for anything that could save her. Then, she spotted eight cars near the massive group of mutants, the two with the strange weapons coming into view.

"..Not in your dreams.." she said quietly, raising her assault rifle and shooting rapidly toward one car, some of the mutants looking around and assuming her aim was completely off, not a threat. They did not notice the flames building up on the one car, which lead to there demise.

A massive orange blast emitted from the car, a domino effect occuring with the other eight cars, engulfing the mutants in a fire of retribution.

The woman let out a sigh, setting her head against the wall of the building, looking at the burnt bodies of her allies and the mutants. She could see one of the mutant's hand rising toward the air, as if hoping he could grab something. The hand then fell onto the ground, limp, a puddle of blood beneath it.

She looked to the ground, catching something silver, a necklace with two tags. The woman lifted them up, reading it.

Sarah Lyons

"Im not dead yet." she said, standing and walking to her fallen comrades, pulling off there tags before beginning to walk in a northwestern direction.

After about a hour or so of walking, Sarah found herself standing outside the Pentagon, two Sentry Bots guarding it. She walked to the intercom, setting her finger on the button.

"This is Sarah Lyons. Open up. Now." Sarah said with command.

"Attitude?" a voice replied, male.

"Listen here, unless you want to be running around the entire damn city of D.C twenty times, you will open this [censored] door, right now, do I make myself clear?"

"Alright, alright, calm down." the male voice replied, the gate letting out a groan as it began to rise, Sarah walking into the citadel. Many troops could be seen in the courtyard, doing the usual exercises.

"Sarah!" a voice hollered, Lyons turning her head to see a uniformed man approaching her, Daniel Smith who was once apart of the Enclave, a man with the wrong information, on the wrong team. "Elder has been looking all around for you. Where have you been, you look like [censored], no disrespect meant."

Sarah shook her head, just now realizing how cut up her face was.

"I was out, taking some of our men on patrol. We found a large group of mutant.. the little [censored]s are getting smarter. They have weapons I have never seen before."

"Well, dont tell me about it. Go to the Elder." Daniel replied, Sarah nodding slowly before walking into the building. She made a turn down a hall, some soldiers saluting her, before entering the lab to see Elder Lyons standing on a platform, overlooking Libery Prime. After a good bit of use, the robots system eventually failed. It was kept as a mark of how strong the Brotherhood is... or was.

"Elder Lyons, you called?" Sarah said to him, the old man turning, his face looking rather sickly.

"Sarah... been out of the citadel again, it seems." he said, his voice very weezy now.

"I have a duty to uphold, and I intend to do so." Sarah replied, much authority in her voice.

"Your duty is to make sure that our soldiers are trained well for any situation, and to remain in the Pentagon and do so." Lyons replied, Sarah shaking her head.

"And I did. I took them out on a field mission.. they were slaughtered. Five of our men." she said, pulling out the dog tags so that Lyons could see. "I apologize for my disobedience, but I must know how we are supposed to win D.C, if our own troops get weaker. The Super Mutants are growing, it is obvious they have some sort of facility here."

'Sara-" Lyons began, only to be interrupted.

"Not only that, but the Wasteland is in a war right now for Oil! Raiders are taking over, and Megaton is barely able to endure due to the fuel they have in the bomb, and all the atomic power as well. If we cant go against a bunch of dumb minded mutants, how are we supposed to fight raiders who have vehicles?"

Elder Lyons shook his head, letting out a sigh.

"They may not be the best troops.. but they are what we have in D.C. You know we are spread out, defending oil wells."

"Oil wells?" Sarah said, "Oil wells?! What about the people of America? We should be concentrating our efforts on protecting them, and not some minor resource that comes out of the ground! The Outcast are probably doing a far better job then we are."

"Sarah, calm down.." Lyons said, "This body can only take so much at one time. What do you propose we do? No one can help us..."

"There is one. He... he is stronger then all of us, thats a fact." Sarah replied, wiping some blood that was rolling down her forehead off.

"Sarah, he is gone. For all we know, he has left America all together."

"Knowing him, he is probably still in the wasteland, well hidden with his companion." Sarah said, looking to the Elder.

"Or he may be dead! Sarah, he is gone. After we wiped out the Enclave, he set off on his own journey, alone, no one to defend him." Lyon's replied, starting to breath at a much more fast pace.

"He doesn't need anyone to defend him, Elder. Like I said, stronger then all of us. Let me search for him! If I can find him... he may well be the key of turning the tide."

"I will not risk you to the dangers of the was-"

"I am a soldier, and you can either allow me to do this, or add a number to the Outcast!" Sarah said with much command, Elder Lyons looking at her with some shock in his eyes.

He hesitated for a good few moments, not seeming to breath. And then...

"Very well... you may go search for Jack. Be back within the month however. We will need you Sarah."

Sarah just gave a nod before taking her leave, going to turn in the Dog Tags and then prepare for the trip.

The Enclave took the one thing that mattered to me. Now, I am going to destroying everything they have... ~ the Lone Wanderer, after activating Project Purity.

Chapter Two: The Two Companions

Three raiders rode on motorcycles through the wasteland, not a star in the Night Sky. One of the raiders name was Snake, a new initiate to the Wasteland Warriors. The three were coming toward a massive hill, with destroyed Verti-birds on the top. Upon reaching it, a destroyed bunker door could be seen, a very unlit entrance into a mountain.

"Worm, Snake, think they got fuel in there?" one of the raiders said, another shaking his head.

"Doubt it. Looks pretty blown to me."

Snake let out a chuckle, "Actually, I think this was once a Enclave base. Raven Rock they called it. It otta have some sort of fuel we can use for our vehicles."

The raider that spoke the other two's names looked to Snake, 'Alright them smarty. Go in, search the entire place for fuel. Meet up with us back at the lake."

"Wha- why me?" Snake said, the leader laughing.

"Dont be a [censored] puss! Go in there now and prove you are worth more then just meat for us to eat later on!" he shouted before turning his motorcycle, Worm doing the same, the two riding off and cackling.

Snake gave off a gulp, turning off his vehicle and setting himself on the ground, beginning to walk toward the entrance, pulling out a 10.MM pistol. He entered the base, taking notice of much wreckage. Destroyed robots could be seen, and the roof of the base was blown off.

Snake turned down what seemed to be a old hall, catching a scent in the air.

"[censored]...' he muttered. Seemed like dog [censored] to, something Snake was familiar with. But.. there was something else in the air. Fuel? Snake began to walk in the fuel's scent direction, gun ready to shoot anything. He came to a door, setting his gun in his belt and placing both hands in a crack in the middle. He then began to pull, the sound of metal grinding together emitting as the door slowly opened.

Infront of the raider, about sixteen red boxes used to carry three gallons of gas, each.

"Oh, hallaluyah!" the raider said, pulling out his gun and walking to the boxes. Suddenly, he could hear the sound of a shotgun being cocked behind him, something that felt like two barrels being placed against his spine.

'Alright mate,' a voice said in a somewhat Australlian accent, "I usually blow idiots like you head's off. But since you interrupted my sleep, I have decided against that, so that getting back to sleep wont be as hard. So drop the pistol..."

Snake sneered loudly, "How about you take that [censored] gun off me and I make your death not so pai-" he then felt the barrels being pushed against his back.

"Really, I can just shoot you right now. This is not a good time to be talking back to me like that... drop the pistol."

Snake hesitated a moment, then did so, the pistol making a little noise as it hit the ground.

"Good boy. Now, rotate your body as I do." the voice said, Snake feeling the barrels of the shotgun moving a little to the left, he slowly doing so as well until he was looking the way he came from. "Walk."

Snake was guided out of the base, into the wasteland. He could see his motorcycle not to far off.

"You are going to say that the cave is filled with ghouls, and that there is zero fuel. You will not return, and hopefully you wont have the bad fortune of seeing me in the Wasteland ever again, when I am not planning on getting sleep. Are we clear?"

Snake nodded slowly, not moving.

"Now. Get the hell away from my lawn, and be glad I did not kill you today." the voice said, Snake slowly stepping forward, it seeming like a eternity until he got on his motorcycle. He turned the vehicle on, spinning it around and riding off the hill, thankful to have his life.

The man set the barrel of the shotgun in his left hand, slowly walking toward the edge of the hill, looking down at the wasteland. Many yellow lights could be seen, fires of either war or campsites. The sun would soon be rising, that was obvious by the blue in the sky.

He let out a whistle, a gray dog running to the mans side. The man wore a black jacket, one of the sleeves torn off. A shoulder pad seeming to have come off power armor could be seen on his right shoulder. On his right wrist, a monitor was visible, nothing on it. It looked like a device that once served a purpose, but now became useless.

The figure looked down at the dog, blue colored eyes looking at with some pride. Very short black hair was visible.

"Come on Dogmeat..." he said, "Jack wants some breakfest."

I like to make them a medium size, so that it leaves people wondering, "What is going to happen next?" thus the reason why it takes me two or three post to wrap up a chapter.

And if you think thats short, you should of seen how short my fanfiction post were last year... three, four sentences?

As the sun rose, Jack and Dogmeat sat inside the ruins of Raven Rock, two pots could be seen between them both. Each of them contained irradiated water, Jack not able to get some purified from the rivers. Radroach, Molerat, and some Bear meat could be seen floating in Jack's pot, while his companion licked his Bloatfly soup.

Jack let out a sigh, looking to his dog.

"Easy. Eat it, dont decorate your face with it." he said to Dogmeat, finishing the rest of his food before standing. "Come on, lets go pup." Jack turned, walking out of Raven Rock, into the open wasteland. Along the way out, he grabbed his shotgun, safety measures.

Dogmeat came running to his side shortly, Jack looking down the cliffside, toward the Wasteland. Many vehicles could be seen moving through, and drills, digging into the earth were spread out. The vehicles seemed to be heading in there direction. Motorcycles, cars, and even trucks. Jack let out a sigh, grabbing a pair of binoculars from his belt and setting them against his eyes.

He could see about six of the vehicles, two of them consisting of motorcycles, three of them cars, and a truck with many raiders on the top. They were all heading to one of the drills, the raiders holding there weapons ready. Jack moved the binoculars slowly toward the drill, seeing many armored men holding assault rifles and rocket launchers.

The drill was surrounded by a wall made of cars, a bus used as a gate. A hole could be seen in the middle of the small base, the drill digging into it. Barrels were set around the back of the base, some black liquid visible on the ground. The troops had some tables set up, food, maps, and anything else a warrior clan would need to survive and do well in the Wasteland.

"Bloody hell, where did your lasers go?" Jack muttered quietly, seeing one of the armored figures turn to its allies, pointing to the raiders and seeming to shout. The figures began to run toward the walls of there drill, readying there weapons toward the oncoming attackers. The motorcycle drivers set themselves behind the truck, while the cars drove infront of it.

"[censored]..." Jack said, seeing one of the truck drivers pull out a rocket launcher. Suddenly, there was a flash that came from the wall , Jack spotting a rocket soaring toward one of the cars, then slamming into its hood. A massive explosion followed, it reaching another one of the cars and causing the truck driver to hit the breaks, the truck beggining to slide to the side as its passengers gripped the railing.

The one remaining car began to turn, a raider in the passenger seat shooting assault rifle rounds at the armored figures. One of the bullets ended up hitting a armored man's head, who unfortunately did not have his helmet on at the time. Jack saw him fall off the car-wall, his body heading toward the drill.

Jack set the binoculars down, seeing little dots in the area he was just gazing at, small lights flashing every now and then. The wanderer shook his head, setting the binoculars down and looking at Dogmeat.

"Come on, pooch. We are going to need a transport soon."

Another good chapter. I think it would be pretty dangerous to attack and oil drilling facility with all the explosions and gunfire, but I guess raiders aren't that smart. The armored figures are part of the brotherhood right? It seems very unlikely that they would be something else, but I was just wondering.

Yup. This chapter is to show more of the state of the Lone Wanderer after the Enclave were wiped out. Im trying to show people how there is no such thing as a blunt good guy who will jump in and save the day for everyone.

Chapter Three: Achieving a Path

Jack and Dogmeat moved through the wasteland, a sawed off shotgun strapped to the Wanderer's left leg, and a box of gasoline in the other. He made his way to the south east, where most of the oil was being pumped up by the Warriors of Steel. Jack knew, where there was oil, there would certainly be raiders trying to take oil. And where there were raiders these days, there was often vehicles.

Hours past, the winds building up in the Wasteland. Jack was taking less known paths, staying under bridges, near Super Mutant territory, and where vaults were built. The land around Vaults was said to be haunted by the ghost of the millions that were condemned to the awful test inside. Jack knew all to well that it was probably far more safer in a Raider's house with his entire family, and all his friends and there friends, then it was inside a vault.

He also knew however, that ghost did not exist. Only pillagers and scavengers. It was when the winds became so strong, that a dust storm started to build up, Jack began to make his way toward a set of large rocks. Dogmeat followed, whether by loyalty or just wanting to find shelter. Jack knew there was a town nearby on a bridge, but he preferred to keep his distance from civilization. After the Fires of Retribution spread throughout the wasteland, many looked to Jack not as a hero, but the shell of a man.

Indeed, he was. Jack knew this, and so choose the path of a Exile. He set himself under a rock, not as much dust blowing there. Dogmeat curled himself into a ball, letting out a sigh.

Jack closed his eyes, setting his head against the rock. How long it had been ever since he left the eyes of civilization, Jack did not know. He did know however, that many people would welcome him, and many more would take the opportunity to do something they never had the chance to do to him. Life as a Exile was not always simple for Jack, no.

Let alone the constant raiders visiting his camps spread out for fuel, which he had yet to find use for, there was the Talon Company. They had been on him for ten years, one week after he left the vault. Vault... such a thing seemed like a legend of the past for the Exile.

The winds continued to blow in the wasteland for a long time, burying much of the rocks. Jack slowly let himself go to sleep, convinced nothing would find him and his companion at the moment. Chances are if anyone was searching for the two right now, they would be dead in a few minutes.

***

Jack awoke hours later to feel something wet sliding across his face. He opened his eyes, seeing Dogmeat infront of him, his companion's tale wagging wildly. The hound let out a bark, turning and running out from under the rock. The sandstorm had ended, and the sky was slowly turning red. The last light of this day. Jack let out a sigh, pushing himself from his shelter and walking into the open Wasteland. He grabbed his oil-carrier as he did so, beginning to walk through the valley of rocks.

"Now dont go running off into 106 Dogmeat.. I dont want to go having to fetch you like last time." Jack said to his companion, who walked by his side with nothing more then a grin on his face. Dogmeat gave off a bark in response, wagging his tail.

For hours they walked through the wasteland, day turning into night. The moon cast its glow upon the Wasteland, many wild dogs heard howling out loud. At times when Jack was in Raven Rock, he would stand at the edge of the cliff and listen to them howl, Dogmeat returning the howls to them. These night's was not one of them however. The raiders were most likely all huddled up in there camps, planning out they would get oil the next day.

The two walked to the top of a hill, finding themselves looking toward a crater one mile away. Many lights could be seen in it, along with a building. Evergreen Mills was it's name. Exactly where Jack wanted to be. He chose to take a long loop around the wasteland, across 106, in order to throw off any Talon Company per suers . If they had run into him and his companion, he could indeed kill them. But doing so would trigger a domino effect.

Vehicles would be sent from there four bases, toward the corpses location. Then drive off in a forty mile radius, hunting for the Lone Wanderer that caused there ranks oh so much trouble.

Jack let out a sigh, setting himself on his stomach and pulling out his binoculars, gazing toward the raider's base. Many of them were driving there motorcycles around the complex, while a few drove cars near the motorcycles. Many oil pumps could be seen digging into the ground, some looking like they could burst out of the ground any moment.

A few campfires could be seen surrounding the building in the crater, what seemed to be humans tied to sticks over them. Many of the raiders could be seen chuckling, drinking old whiskey and any other alcoholic beverages they could get there hands on. A table could be seen, where one raider could be seen injecting himself with all sorts of drugs. He then raised his head back, letting out a howl.

Jack slowly turned the binoculars toward the northern part of the crater, a large cage visible. One raider could be seen fighting another with melee weapons, a crowd cheering the fight on. Jack recalled years ago, coming to this complex and unleashing a Behemoth upon another group of raiders. Afterwards, he collected there fingers, as apart of a job he had taken.

Jack let out a sigh, looking to Dogmeat who was lying down with his eyes closed. He then took one more look the raider base, the vehicles driving in. A large truck seemed to drive forward toward the entrance, the side covered in the same material used to make Power Armor. The gates to Evergreen Mills had closed. Jack made a few more observations around the complex, looking to see if there were any stray vehicles.

None. The Lone Wanderer closed his eyes, thinking it was time to give up for the night. Tomorrow the vehicles would be out, and he would be able to take one by force. All that was needed was proper planning. Jack slowly drifted to sleep, the night's shadow keeping him hidden from the raiders.

Jack awoke the next morning to the sound of roaring engines, cheers heard coming from Evergreen Mills. The Lone Wanderer let out a groan, opening his eyes to see Dogmeat sitting at his spot on the hill, looking down toward the Raiders. Jack crawled up near his companion, pulling out his binoculars to see what appeared to be a repaired train pulling into Evergreen Mills through the tracks, many people seen in the carts, slaves from the looks.

People who looked similiar to the Raiders could be seen standing on the outside of the carts as the train came to a slow stop, entering the Raider Outpost. It looked to Jack as if the raiders were using the slaves for something.. the woman for [censored] and pleasure, and the men... perhaps food? Jack could then see children being pulled out of one cart, escorted into the building of the Outpost.

Must be training the children or something... how did the Raiders get this smart? Jack thought to himself, Dogmeat beginning to whine quietly. Max turned the Binoculars toward the direction of the men, noticing that the raiders were having the slavers pull off the collars of there victims. He then turned his vision toward the massive cage, it now opened. Two raiders could be seen making sure no one escaped the cage while the new victims were being escorted in.

If there was ever a better time to steal a vehicle from the raiders, Jack knew it would not be wise to wait for it much longer. He set the Binoculars back in his pants pocket, standing and whistling for Dogmeat to follow. He then ran down the hill, making sure not to be caught as he went in a ( direction around Evergreen Mills, toward the back. If Jack had a stealth-boy, it would only be a matter of walking in and finding a vehicle. Raiders were known to keep the keys in the vehicle, otherwise they would just lose the thing.

Jack eventually found he and Dogmeat looking down at the crater, not many raiders near the spot he intended to enter from.

"Lets go boy." Jack said quietly sliding down the rocky slope, into Evergreen Mills with his dog. He could now here the voices of the raiders, the engines rumble as they prepared to go out and get more fuel. Soon the slave exchange would be over, and Jack would have to be far more sneaky. He crept throughout the Outpost, Dogmeat following him quietly.

There were many small shacks around the building, for the lesser ranks. All sorts of cars were also spread out throughout the complex, ready to be driven. However, Jack knew he would need a very fast one, considering the fact he would have to drive from one side of the Outpost, out the other, and then escape them. Just then, Jack spotted a very good looking car. Black, its color was, and the engine stood out of the top, it seeming to be the best among the bunch.

The wheels were far more cleaner then the rest. Greater condition.. perfect. Jack ran in the direction of the vehicle, Dogmeat following. The windows were already rolled down, and so the furry companion leaped into the vehicle with ease, setting himself in the passenger seat. Jack began to run around, toward the drivers area when he heard a voice shout behind him.

"OI! Wastelander trying to steal the boss's wheels!" and then, gunshots. Jack ducked as some bullets landed near his feet, others just a few yards away from him. He pulled open the door of the vehicle, it sparking a little as bullets crashed into it. The Lone Wanderer then leaped inside, slamming the door shut and slamming his foot on the pedal while gripping the wheel.

The entire raider outpost came alive, one of the raiders waving a hand and shouting,

"Dont shoot the vehicle dammit! Get my car back!" much anger resonated in the raiders voice, a red mohawk visible on his head. Jack gave off a grin as the car sped forward, turning left and right a little at first before getting balance. The majority of the raiders were now trying to get in there own cars, to give chase.

Jack made a few turns, heading toward the Railroad tracks and driving fast, but carefully around the train cart. He could hear the engines of other vehicles from behind him, looking at his mirror to see four giving chase already.

Jack's car exited Evergreen Mills, now zooming through the Wasteland, coming toward the road.

Great. Objective one complete. Jack thought to himself, looking at the fuel-gauge to see it fairly low. Now to escape, then get some juice... hopefully alive.

Hm, so far so good. You have some amazing descriptions, which I greatly enjoy. You know how to structure your story, and the backstory in the beginning was a nice piece of work. I really want to see more of it, especially I want to know how Sarah and Jack meet. After all, the Lone Wanderer and Sarah Lyons is two of my favorite characters.

A question first: so who was that companion that died? Dogmeat survived, so it is the companion that stayed...and the other is? >nibbling on my finger nails nervously<

By the way, you mentioned that you didn't play the dlc's? That means you might not be familiar with some of the events in Broken Steel then? If you have any questions you can pm me, I will try to help.

P.S. now I know I have something to read as long as there are new posts here :D
