question about ending to lonesome roads

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 6:25 pm

Ok playing as a western outlaw who dispises the ncr but respects the legion, but ultimately is a Mr House man all the way.

Which option at the end would be what Mr House wants or one that dosent get in the way of his vision?

I really would love to choice an option for either or hell even both, or just not at all?

Well, he wants NCR to spend money at his place, so you shouldn't bomb them.
And all you bomb at Legion is Dry Wells, which is unnecessary as it doesn't have any impact on the Legion apart from killing soldiers, slaves and residents.

So I'd say you stop the nukes, I don't think House would want you to bomb the world even more.

Agreed. You won't be getting anything nice out of bombing a certain place just because you don't stop the faction at all.

If you aren't evil, then it's wrong to bomb either of them.

If you bomb the NCR, Mr. House is ultimately screwed.

well damn ki.da figure that. Wouldnt want to bomb the ncr bc that would stop vegas cash flow and customers. And I figured not even legion bc the ncr needs that distraction, that foe to keep them in somewhat check I think....damn

Then just stop the launch like a good majority of New Vegas fans do.

I've done all three, but I made a save file fist because my "canon" story was to stop the launch to both. I wanted to see the ruins.

I have to say that the Ruins were really awesome. Especially Dry Wells.

I would've liked to have "The End" unlock both areas for exploration. They would've both been really cool to see if they haven't been nuked to hell by the Courier.

Agreed. Morality aside, House needs the NCR for the tourism, and he needs the Legion on the other side so that the NCR don't feel comfortable enough that they try to annex Vegas again.

Would have been nice, you're right. Especially since you're most likely aligned with one of them, one would welcome you, the other would be a fight. Of course, I'd expect that EVERYONE should be dead after a nuke was dropped.......
