Before the brotherhood of steel and before the Enclave showed up, just after the times when the Earth was liveable, the vaults were opening up, it was different than what most wasters were used to. Guns were scarce, ammo was even rarer, radiation was more lethal, super mutants weren't much a threat, and deathclaw were just stories. There was no armor like metal armor, and power armor was useless, as nobody knew how to wear it.

After two or three generations, it didn't change much. Most of the vaults supplies were low, and without many guns, the settlers of towns were left without defenses, besides some vault-tec issue firearms, and molotov cocktails.

Robbers were common, but without firepower, they could be dispatched by groups of three or four. The main mutants were Yao-Guai, RadScorpions, wild dogs and coyotes.

Thats where you come in. You are part of a small group of people in Chicago who are living in an old apartment building in the ruins of a city. You're people are weak, there is three pistols in the wash room, one shotgun, and outside was the body of a riot cop, who left his shield and helmet. Although that is scarce, you have many ingredients to make as many molotovs as you possibly need.

Just a question before I sign up, so are the people of this town robbers? Or just people trying to get by and make a living?

Its not a town, its a big apartment building in the city, and no, they are just wastelanders trying to survive. The first thing they would do if they saw a robber would be kill him (with their hands, as ammo is low for the guns), and take whatever good things they had on them. Robbers were common, but violence would only be hunting and if there was an animal/intruder

Equipent: None on him, but in his room is a fridge of water, moonshine, cans of pork, and a box of expired cookies. He also has four unlit molotovs on the counter next to a window, with a zippo lighter next to them.

Appearance: He has dark brown hair, thick chin stubble, blue eyes, and his left eye isn't there, from when he tried to kill a robber that had a piece of broken glass. He is caucasian, but pretty tan, due to sun, and muscly, because he trained in hand-to-hand combat and carried his objects.

Personality: Defends his pride, a joker. He is very scary when angry.

Bio: Jack got his nickname when he was fighting a robber with a shiv, who took out his left eyeball, which is why he wears the goggles. He went to the aparment with a group of travelers three years ago. He isn't much educated, but he would know how to read basic words. Usually when there is a robber, he and most of the men, and some of the stronger women go out and kill him. There isn't a leader in their little colony, but if their was, it would be him.
