Any mods to make magic not fail?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 8:59 pm

The mod manager recently came out for Morrowind, so I got a few mods like the graphics extender, new textures, new sounds, etc. I did get a mod that made weapon attacks always connect during combat so that is would not get annoying at low levels. However the mod does not work with magic, it still occasionly fails when I cast a spell. Does anyone know any mods that can make magic never fail?

Just play the game properly, level magic skills and the spells will fail less often. It's more fun and balanced that way. With the type of mod you're looking for, there would be no point leveling magic skills at all, since higher magic levels just reduce the chance for spells to fail.

A bit ... Unnecessary, wouldnt you say? How can you 'cheat' in a single-player game?

I'm afraid I can't offer anything on-topic though. I haven't even bought the game yet! :lmao:

you do know that cheating is doing anything outside the intended rules right? just that in a single player game, you're just cheating yourself out of the challenge intended by the creaters.

anyways, for spells not to fail, the in-game way is using spellmaker for less demanding spells. however, i think there's a mod that has 100% spell cast success, and just changes skill level to decrease magicka consumed per cast, but don't remember the name off-hand.

May as well just open the console and type "tgm".

There might be a combination of things that'll work for you here though. http://www.mwmythicmods.com/mage.htm#32
