Crashes when fighting ancestral ghosts

My current game is quite stable, but I have one recurring crash, which happens when I fight ancestral ghosts.

Since my sign is the astronach I fight my own summoned ancestral ghosts a lot to absorb magicka, but frequently my game crashes when I do this. To be precise the game crashes, when the summoned ghosts do their attack spells. Since I crash around once per hour, I would like to avoid this.

I'm sure the problem is caused by a mod, but I don't know which, so I hope someone can tell me which. Here is my mod-list:

I don't know, but this is how Morrowind.esm defines the Summoned Ghost:

If the problem is a mod, it seems like it could only be one of three things: They have changed this definition, or they have changed the model (r/AncestorGhost.NIF) or they have changed the spell "Ghost Curse", so maybe it uses a bugged magic effect or something.

It's easy to check for changed models, look in Meshes/r for any new AncestorGhost.nif and remove it, this will revert to the one from Morrowind.bsa.

If you aren't averse to using command line tools, http://code.google.com/p/mlox/wiki/Tes3cmd can find which mod changes things, for instance, finding which mods change the summoned ghost:

tes3cmd dump --type crea --id ghost_summon *.esm *.esp

and finding what plugins change the ghost's spell:

tes3cmd dump --type spel --id "ghost curse" *.esm *.esp

and see if the spell effect is changed.

But, my guess is that it is not a mod, and it is just the Morrowind engine being flaky.
