Hello. I am getting a very low frame rate,around 16-25 but sometimes spiking up to 200.I have latest AMD drivers,12.4.Game was actually running great heavily modded a few months ago but I started fresh this time and for some reason its running really poorly. Using 2 6970's (crossfire turned off since it caused problems in Oblivion for me before) and I7-950 OCed to 4.4ghz with 6gb of Ram.Using windows 7 64 and have latest patch,no mods but have tried stutter remover and a few other performance tweaks/mods. I can't figure what is causing this game to run so bad.

did you limit your fps via ini?

Nope

go into your ini file, and where it says max fps=240, change it to max fps=60

Checked both Oblivion INI and Oblivion_default and there is no maxfps option in my ini,also created a new ini.

lol np.Actually found problem, apparently Xfire does not play nice with Gamebryo games.All is good now.
