Well, whatever... they're all basically the same tools, just that NIFOpt and DDSOpt are focused solely on meshes and textures, while BSAOpt does both.
I checked out Optimizer Textures... man, that thing is FAST. It burned through 381 MB of textures in 48 seconds.
As far as optimizing, it did only slightly better than DDSOpt. I'm sorely tempted to give it a whirl on my Textures folder, since my game keeps freezing at odd intervals - I want to see if a different optimization tool might fix it. At worst, my folder will be a little smaller.
Edit: I figured what the hey and did it. My Textures folder was 4.77 GB; OT chewed through it in 21 minutes and reduced the size by 18 MB (I'd previously done everything with DDSOpt). Now to see what it does in game...
