He's clearly talking C2.

Yes freddie, it should be. You own the game. As long as youre using your own serial.

Or.....you can redeem your product code on Origin, it will download much faster, it will be more safe, and it will just be more ethically and morally correct

I would say it is legal. Because when you buy software, you buy the license, not the bits and bytes.

It depends on what kind of copyright law is applicable in your country.

I see that you live in hungary. Since hungary is a member of the EU since 2004 they also had to implenent the EU -guideline for the copyright law in their own law. Many things are still very controversial when it comes to the internet and the copyright law. But one thing i can tell you that is for sure. When you buy a game you buy a material component (the box, manual, DVD) and the immaterial component (the licence). So plain simple.. if you download Data without paying for it (and knowing that the author didnt want the data to be publisht in that way) then in german law (for example) you would have violated the copyright law because youve downloaded an obviously illegal copy. So if the hungarian law is anywhere near the german law... i would think twice if i would download data from a page which im clearly aware that its not legal to download it there (piratebay for example). And it would be even more stupid to say that you have done or intend to do so on an official Crytek forum.

At the others: Dont give him wild guesses if its illegal or not if you dont have a clue for yourself.

This is what i'd recommend... this also used to work on Steam for Crysis 2, I have not tested it lately though but it might be worth a try.
