Crysis 3 multiplayer discussion

okay so for starters I think we can all agree that the multi player component of Crysis 2 was lacklustre to say the least. Oh don't get me wrong it was never broken and could be some good old fashioned online fun but there were some serious balancing issues, most of the maps were boring or just areas recycled from the campaign. The matchmaking was slow and matches would often disconnect mid game(on the xbox anyway). also I felt there was not enough variety in the game modes and there was not enough support for the player community.

All in all I have several ideas that could improve the multiplayer for crysis 3 and I hope you will all share your ideas and comment on mine.

1. Coop: I think a coop component would be great for crysis, taking on objectives in a mission mode or fighting waves of aI in a survival mode. yes similarly to halo, gears of war and COD zombies(Oh no! he mentioned COD, kill him!). these kinds of game modes are successful for a reason and have been proven to work in many other games so I think it could work very well in a crysis flavour.

2. split-screen: I love playing online with a buddy in local splitscreen and I always thought it was a shame that crysis never had it. possibly because it would mean the graphics would have to be lowered for two screens to be rendered simultaneously but I think graphics taking a hit would be a small price to pay for splitscreen support. what do you think?.

3.Maps: most of the maps in crysis 2 were just areas from the campaign. it really pissed me off when the new dlc was only a few megabytes big meaning that most of it was already on the disc, more unique areas would be cool with maybe map specific features and colour pallets. also a few larger maps might be cool like power struggle from Crysis 1 with vehicles and big open terrain.

4. map editor for consoles: having a map editor and custom game modes on the console version would be great for the multiplayer community, making and sharing custom maps like far cry 2 or halo reach. just getting together with your mates and messing about on silly maps you made is always good fun and it will allow more creative members of the community to make great custom maps and game modes for the community.

and finally 5. Custom content: how cool would it be to have more cosmetic options for your weapons and nanosuit? I'd love to be able to blast away noobs in my hot pink nanosuit with my ruby red scar, my player emblem being a mighty unicorn of course. Halo and COD have done this yes but you know what? it works and its fun for a reason and I'm open to it.

so opinions and ideas anyone, (methinks potential flame war in the making xD)

Pink nanosuit? o.0
Personally I liked most of Crysis 2's maps but we need more variety IMO

Give everybody unlimited sprint/movement, up the pace.
Nerf camo drain time, increase recharge time, stop people spending their entire games wither running round cloaked or hiding in a corner waiting for their energy to recharge.
Add a variety of maps sizes. Plenty of vehicles for the bigger maps goes without saying.
Consoles = 16 player count minimum, PC = 32 minimum.
Survival, co-op and custom modes.
A map editor would be sweet, but it's a lot of work and I'd rather they nailed the basics.
Aesthetic customization sounds cool.
