Fallout 1 Hints And Tips And Help

Post » Sat Jun 23, 2012 10:45 am

I managed to get through Fallout 1 properly, finally. Got to Necropolis, Adyum, The Boneyard, the Cathedrel.
Suddenly the phrase from FO:NV, 'the FoTA rose from the boneyards of adyum', makes more sense, lol.
I can see were stuff in FO:NV started.

And the more I see of it, the more I see how Fallout New Vegas is connected.
I also think, how the hell did bethesda come up with FO3s overdone, illogical, world.
They've got proper beds! Even messy beds in necropolis, have bed clothes! Adobe houses, their own unique style. Trade caravans. Hydroponic farming. Settlements with neatly set up walls. Complete buildings.
How the hell do you look at that and make FO3s illogical mess of a world?!

I think bethesda must hate logical, proper beds, because they have barely any in both FO3 and Skyrim.
But then skyrims one long list of WTFs.

But I got a bit stuck.

I can't find were the wallet is, or see how much money I have in trading. Where is it?
I ran out of bullets, constantly. So I made a melee lady. That is going ok.

I kept getting stuck in adyum. I went there, found the blades, then got boxed in by deathclaws.
I can get to the gunrunners, but can't get back.
So I left her in shady sands.

How do you get the map to appear, that shows the whole thing and has a list of places at the side? So I don't get boxed into adyum anymore.

I also was'nt sure what to do in a shady sands quest, were it says, kill scorpions. Were are the scorpions? Any scorpions? Nest of scorpions? Scorpion Gang, what?
I gave the doctor stingers. Is that all you do?

I got Ian as a follower. He's behaving normally, aside from accidentally shooting me. Thank goodness.

Any easy areas to grind?

Any help, hints, tips, would be most welcome.
