First, few PSJJJ relics of any kind remained anywhere on Tamriel or Alinor after the vanishing of Artaeum, and few of those remaining survived the Thalmor’s purge of all “items heretical to Aldmeri laws and traditions”.
Second, the Psjic order has (or had, as we’ve lost all contact with them for the last hundred or so years) the most information on the more esoteric aspects of the Aurbis, such as kalpas and what some crackpots refer to as CHIM.

This excerpt is somewhat new. Aedroncreatia-Datescrying has dated this document to have been written during the late Third Era. Of course, this isn’t the whole essay, nor is the author known, but we do know him to be a Psijic.
There are few irreconcilable differences between the Nordic myth of creation, and our better, more valid views, but modern research has given way to some truth being found in the Nordic viewpoint. Their “version” (for want of a better word) of Auri-El, Alduin devours the world, and the next world begins after it.
Strangely, unlike our other brethren, we have found reason to believe in this Nordic version of time, referred to as a Kalpa. After all, time being a linear concept is a rather modern idea (in the cosmic scheme of things). Just as time is sometimes non-linear, time’s beginning and end are also sometimes non-linear (more often they are cyclical according to the myth).
We theorize that Alduin existed as a Aurbical Failsafe, existing until the end of the world to restart it, so that it doesn’t subgradiate into nothingness, as is the tendency of all things, mundane or supernatural.
[Editor’s note: I hate to interject at this point, but I need to explain the Psijic concept of Dharma, or “law”. They believed that the universe followed a set of rules and principle, not by conscious effect of the actions of gods and men, but moreso that the Aurbis follows certain tendencies by coincidence. An example of this would be the archetype of the Enatiomorph found throughout history.]
Whether subgradiance is the Dharma of other Kalpas is unknown, but it certainly is the part of the Dharma of our current Kalpa (trying to understand the nature of Dharma throughout our own time/universe is nearly impossible , let alone across multiple worlds). Vivec-sama saw the Mundus as the most integral part of the Wheel as a means to ascend past the Aurbis.
Alduin was necessary to ensure that this Aurbis didn’t crumble to dust. But he is not necessary anymore.
Alduin enforced Ald-Dharma.
Talos made Nu-Dharma.
Yes, the god of men is used as a means to hold the world together. We of the PSJJJ have attempted to use Ald-Tao to look into the world that used to never not exist before this one, and we have determined that this kalpa has gone on much longer than any other (well…assuming that we can measure kalpic length in time without Dragon-fluxuations). Talos enforces this Aurbis’s existence.
Nu-Dharma will be eternal!
But you, my fellow Psijics, may ask, why? Why should we care?
Simple, this is a large step forward in perusing Ald-Tao. Mundus is a tool to ascend. But we take a restart backward whenever the world ends and the Wheel turns (infact, the Nordic word “Kalpa” does mean “to turn”). When the Wheel stays stationary, we have longer time to ascend past the Mundus, and to accumulate our Karma further to become royal and beautiful.
Talos has given us a mighty gift indeed!
[Editor’s note: It’s worthy of note that the concept of “Karma” changed before the disappearance of Artaeum. Before this essay (more than likely, because I’m not either a scholar of PSJJJ history, nor am I a member of the organization itself, so I’m not “the authority” on these matters), karma was simply meant the “sum of our deeds in this life” that our reincarnations inherit. The meaning changed to “the entire sum of all of our deeds throughout all of our lives”, and the connotation changed to imply that our position throughout kalpic changes is inspired by the actions of all of our lives in this one. This is not a radically new idea, as the Psijics believed that karma changed who you reincarnated as in your next life, but now the idea expands trans-kalpa. Karma could be fragments that remain on a soul that are uncleansed by the dreamsleeve, but we don’t even know if souls go through the dreamsleeve or not for certain.]
