I play Morrowind now and then, and take great care when I install my mods. Trust me ... they are installed correctly, with all the right files in all the right places.

Now, for the first time, I've gotton this error when the Andromache quest (Canadian Ice's mod, Andromache):

Script SiceAndroScumForcegreeting
Trying to RunFunction index greater than function count
The script will not run anymore.
==>CompileAndRun problem was found in Greeting "Greeting 1"
"Then prepare to die!"

It is *not* the mod's fault. I've run it before, and Canadian Ice's mod runs flawlessly.

Additionally, when I do the Umbra mini-quest, I also get a scripting error near the very end. What gives?

Yes, I installed a couple of mods I've never played before (isn't that the reason for starting a new game? ), but I don't know how to troubleshoot or resolve these annoying scripting errors. I can't complete the Andromache quest ... and I wonder what else might happen to other scripted mods as I get further into my game.

Any suggestions?

Standard solution: knock off any recently activated mods and see if they fixes the problem.

That script will be from a specific mod, so there is probably an incompatability somewhere. Is SiceAndroScumForcegreeting from Andromache?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is specific to that mod. Kill the jerk, and a lost treasure (sword and eye) appear .... but that doesn't happen now, because of the script error.

Mmmmmmmmm'k ... sorry 'bout all this, but I fixed it.
