Just got a reply from MS,sayn same thing. "We (n gamesas) are aware of the problem and workn to fix it". I mean at least they aknowledged there is a problem lol.
Im not blaming anyone but pre-order DLC is xactly what is says it is....its a bonus for those who pre-order their game so we get a little treat to start of with, not a week
or so later when for most of us the items would be useless due to our lvl. Would be nice if Beth showd some love and maybe gave us xtra DLC for all this pissn around.
LOL im sure that will happn.

I totally agree... it's not about waiting for new DLC or anything, the very idea of the pre-order packs was a little 'thankyou' to those who pre-ordered to start the game with. Now, if they realised some of the packs were bugged, I'd understand and in fact prefer if we had to wait even a week for them to fix it (even though that's what testing is for, surely?!). It's the fact they're not issuing a statement or letting customers publicly know WHAT'S GOING ON that is such poor service. Was there that few pre-orders that they don't consider those effected to be worth a post on this site? Really, we shouldn't have to chase MS or Bethesda or Obsidian to ASK why our codes don't work and when it will be fixed if they are ALL not working. The lack of any error message beyond "invalid" just scares customers into chasing and accusing the store assistants they bought from, too.
Reading these boards, a few people have even been given second codes by well-meaning EB staff (hopefully not depriving others of theirs, though); I guess that's nice that some folks will get a 'reward' (sell on ebay, give to a friend) for the hassles they've experienced, but I TOTALLY agree with posters who say we should be compensated for this in some small way... I don't want refunds, or MS points, or custom-made DLC or anything... but I know from my own business that a nice token of apology goes a LONG way to making a disgruntled customer feel appreciated, and restore faith in your business. The whole preorder thing has been a disaster for Aussies, so some kind of 'hey, sorry we messed things up so bad' would be nice. An additional preorder pack (already made, so no cost to them), maybe? Heck, a single armor or gun? Xbox theme? I don't know.
Not that it will happen, though; I've NEVER seen a game company give anything away for free on goodwill or apology (MS' "free month of gold online" for repairs, etc. aside). Heck, Rockstar owed buyers of Bully (on 360) something as they game was unplayable for a week until they patched it! What did they do to apologize? Nothing.
Wait, just thought... given it's Aussies who've mostly been screwed around... how about a Mad Max armour or Humongous mask, guys?
