Hackdirt is a very weird place. Burned down thirty years before the Oblivion Crisis by the Imperial Legion, and built over a network of caves containing strange men with huge eyes known as the Brethren, it is already pretty mysterious. However, the Bible of the Deep Ones located in Hackdirt brings up even more questions.


Since the rest of the book is in Daedric, are the Deep Ones Daedra? Since the text translated from Daedric is the same text as that of N'gasta! Kvata! Kvakis!, are the Deep Ones the Sload? Is it something else? The Sload sacrifice men at the Pillar of Thras. Perhaps the Deep Ones are who they sacrifice to?

Besides the obvious Lovecraft tribute, I think they should have done more than just give the bad guys anime eyes.
Mysterious fog, chanting, whatever. More terror.
