Reason I'm posting this is I've just gone through 1 and a half playthroughs without any of the problems a lot of people seem to be having. I place the emphasis on having or not having DLC because two of my friends don't have DLC and they don't have these problems, like me. I figure this poll might shed some light.

I had a card for DLC from pre-ordering, never used it, and I've encountered three separate game-breaking glitches.

I used the DLC card and have experienced the DLC save error.

I have not gotten to the strip yet, so could not vote in the poll though.

I have heard that these problems have had to people with or without DLC and I have heard that some of the lucky few that didn't have problems had DLC. This seems to be completely random at times but all signs point to defective product either way.

I didn't bother to install the DLC from my pre-order and am currently being hit with the DLC corrupt save issue. My issues started to spring up while looking for Ranger Anders in Vault 3. In the living quarters area where you can swim down, my companions decided it was time to walk around on the ceiling. This is what I figured was the issue as when I attempted to load a save that had Ed-E and Veronica somewhere they couldn't possibly be standing the save would be corrupt. So I ended up rolling back my game to a save where I had not yet gone for a swim, which seemed to do the trick. Had the game freeze when trying to enter the room Anders is hiding in. ED-E also seems to get stuck in Ander's room and can not proceed to make it through the access panel so you have to walk the long way around with it. Anyhow I went about my way and finished off Motor Runner and returned to McCarran and then went exploring for another 30 minutes or so with no issues. Called it a night and went to sleep upon starting up the game today every single save after leaving Vault 3 have become corrupted. 6 total including the Auto Save outside of the Gun Runners.

Yeah, it does seem that way DolphHauldhagen. I guess I'm just bewildered about not having as many problems. It's crazy stuff. You're right, either way it's defective.

Dlc installed and completed both of those missions without incident.

I had a slightly older save that loads and determined that my issue is with the "Come Fly With Me" quest. I have a save that loads (advanced the old one) right before I talk to the guy to complete that mission and it always glitches the saves after that...

You guys are right though, it's happening to other people in random spots, I can just reproduce the issue in my spot here...annoying.
