I own Fallout New Vegas, just haven't played it yet! Should I play from first to last? Which is the best one? And isn't there another one coming out in January?

If you want to witness some form of continuation in the overall setting, you should start from Fallout, continue to Fallout 2 and then play New Vegas as they have the most connections with each other -- playing in that order helps in understanding the setting, factions, the way things are, and some occurences. Fallout 3, Tactics, and PoS are more detached from that line of story. Otherwise, it doesn't really matter in which order you play.

Personally I consider Fallout 2 to be the best in the series, although the first game has a better writing and tone. New Vegas following as third; and the rest down there after that.

What January release are you speaking of? There have been no announcements of any kind as far as I am aware.

Sorry was trippin! Lol. I was thinking of Rainbow Six:Patriots.....lol my bad:) I will probably end up getting all as long as they are for the 360, are they? I dunno why I haven't played it....I guess because I've been caught up with Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, Splinter Cell:Conviction, Borderlands, etc. lol:) And I also have The Witcher 2 just haven't had time to start a file on there! Another reason, in the sense of non video gaming, I have a 2 year old, lol:) So you both say Fallout 2 is best huh?

Fallout and Fallout 2 (and Tactics) are PC only -- but if you have (or can acquire) a PC from this millennia, you can run the games as they were released in the 90's.

Give Witcher 2 a try, it is a good game overall.

I have 3 fallout games.

Fallout New Vegas is the best. It is awesome, one of the best RPGs I ever played.

Fallout 1 is good. You can see were it connects to FO:NV.

Fallout 3. Good. Nowere near as good as FO:NV. Does'nt actually look like it belongs to the same series in many things.

You can play them in any order you want.
Just play the games you have now.
