Rest Stop Shop

Traven grins, "Very well, I'll take it," he then turns to Hobbes.

"Paladin, pay the man the 175 for both the weapon and the badge, and then use a sum of 25 to purchase any miscellaneous supplies you judge would help us to resupply."

Following this, Traven whisks his robe around him and begins to head for the door.

OOC: Just to clarify, is the value of the badge and the weapon in caps or pre-war dollars? Ie. I'm assuming Traven is going to pay 200 dollars and not 20.

Hobbes comes out of the store and hands Traven the weapon and the badge.

"I bought a few MFC and SEC, but we need food and water. The pre-war packaged food he sold looked disgusting."

GM Note: yes, it was 200 dollars, so you down to 800.

Rest Stop Shop

"Excellent Paladin, we'll find a shop which sells food and water in the morning, no need to purchase it just yet," Traven takes the compliance regulator from Hobbes and holsters it on his waist.

"Hopefully this weapon will prove its worth. Disabling the creatures and allowing us to capture and examine one alive could be an excellent way to learn more of the plague and how to counter these beings," Traven grins, "likewise, it could prove an interesting interrogation technique."

As Hobbes hands Traven the badge, he examines it more closely, wiping off the badge with his gloved thumb, the "West Tek" label is clearly visible.

"Do you understand what this badge is Paladin?"

"Not entirely sir," Hobbes replies.

"Its a security clearance badge, and it could prove quite useful when we investigate the West-Tek facility," Traven places the badge into a pouch on his belt, "very useful indeed."

Traven then raises his hood over his head once more as another peal of thunder can be heard in the distance, "Now, lets head towards our lodgings at the hotel. I believe a bit of respite will do us some good."

Rest Stop Town Streets

Traven and Hobbes begin their walk to the hotel. A steady rain has begun to fall. As he rounds the corner if the next street, he almost falls over as someone runs into him.

"Hey, why don't you watch where yer going, ya scrawny bastard," the man says, before continuing on his way.

Traven continues on in anger, contemplating ways he could vaporize the man, when he stops and looks down to realize his pouch is gone.

GM Note: Per check fail. Int check success.

Traven turns to see the man running down the street.

Cabin:

Zach, White, and Winters gear up and follow Jed's map into the woods, heading towards his hunting blind. Jenna and Baxter head out to patrol the area to the east.

Jed turns to Vargas, Karl, Alice, and Burns. "If you wouldn't aren't busy, I have some things you may find useful. Care to join me on a little walk?"

Rest Stop Streets

"Paladin, apprehend that man!" Traven shouts, and Hobbes moves to comply.

Traven then pulls the compliance regulator out and aims it at the figure down the street, he steadies himself, takes aim at the man's torso, and pulls the trigger.

Jason Vargas
Jed turns to Vargas, Karl, Alice, and Burns. "If you wouldn't aren't busy, I have some things you may find useful. Care to join me on a little walk?"

"Sure Jed, let me get suited up".

Jason heads back into his ten, taking off his pajams and putting on the undershirt for his Metal Armor. Grabbing his black mandulis sungalasses, red covering scarf and his gears and weapons, he heads back to Jed.

"I am ready Jed, so what is it we are doing".

OOC: Is it dawn, or is it night time?
