A strange thing, to me, is that not only those final comments concerning us to defend Morrowind - but on Vivec. How did she really know his time was really coming to an end? Even with the Heart Gone - Dunmer (especially those whom were formerly Chimer) can live for long periods of time. Such as Fyr - everyone's favorite Telvanni.
Methinks it was more of a grudge and her taking Vivec away (As seen in the Trial of Vivec) as a way to end the precursor of the Tribunal, the one who murdered Nerevar, herself. A
And then one may ponder on how the Nerevarine is suppose to 'protect the Dunmer(her people)' whilst in Akavir. And one can even try to ignore Morrowind nearly going to hell in a hay basket with the Red Year, the Civil War Helseth Started, and then the Second Arnesian War.
So the question is; is Azura really genuine in her comments concerning the importance of us?( the Nerevarine) Or is it merely to ease a pawn who has seen many things that may contradict logic itself - killing several Gods, helping them at times (as with Almalexia), allowing a dictator fully establish himself on the Throne of HIS people (nerevarine would obviously attach himself to the Dunmer people) and then finding out this was more or less the plan of Azura?
