I'm attempting to make an NPC initiate conversation with the player IF the player has a certain book in his or her inventory. Right now, since I haven't been able to figure out how to check for the book, he will happily wander up and comment on it whether it's there or not. I know how to check for objects through the dialogue window, but haven't a clue how to do it via scripting. Could somebody let me know how it's done, please?
(And now that I've asked, I'm sure the answer will turn up somewhere obvious. I apologize in advance.)
