Question about Races Origin

Post » Sat Jul 07, 2012 8:41 am

Tell me if I get this right or not.

The oldest race known are the ehlnofey and the hist, later ehlnofey became aldmer and men, while some hist evolved into argonians.

Mer later become divided even more the dwemer, altmer, chimer, Orsimer and bosmer.

Dwemer are races that live in the underground of dwemereth, which now known as Morrowind

Chimer are mer that abandon the way of summerset Isle and go into exodus to Dwemereth following the prophet Veloth. Later after the battle of red mountain they were cursed by Azura and became Dunmer.

Bosmer are aldmer that settles in Valenwood and due to adaptation become the bosmer.

Orsimer are aldmer that are cursed when Boethiah defeat Trinimac turning him into Malacath

Those that remain in Summerset Isle became known as altmer

Men became three the nedes, nords, and yokudans.

The Nedes are those that remain in Tamriel

Nords are those that settle in Atmora but later migrate to Tamriel after the freezing of atmora that changes it into wasteland plagued by civil war.

Yokudans are those that settle in yokuda but later migrate to Tamriel after yokuda sank.

Later due to the mixing between nordic blood and nedes blood, Imperial came into existance.

While on high rock due to breeding between mer and men (the nedes) Breton came into existance.

Now if this is correct where does Khajiit came from?

Yes and no. The hist never really evolved. They're still there in Black Marsh. Ancient living gods in the form of trees. The Argonians are what happens when a species of lizard is allowed to drink the Hist Sap, mutating into a humanoid form. These lizards being animals are children of Kynareth. You might say Argonians are descended from two types of god.

Mer later become divided even more the dwemer, altmer, chimer, Orsimer and bosmer.

And Maormer. And Khajiit. And Ayleid.

Dwemer are races that live in the underground of dwemereth, which now known as Morrowind

Most of the Dwemer settled there, but some settled in parts of Skyrim and Hammerfell.

Chimer are mer that abandon the way of summerset Isle and go into exodus to Dwemereth following the prophet Veloth. Later after the battle of red mountain they were cursed by Azura and became Dunmer.

That's the short version yeah.

Bosmer are aldmer that settles in Valenwood and due to adaptation become the bosmer.

Not just adaptation - they were Forest People who chose to worship Y'ffre rather than Azura. Unlike their cousins the Khajiit they took a different form. Also, they took mannish wives.

Orsimer are aldmer that are cursed when Boethiah defeat Trinimac turning him into Malacath

Right.

Those that remain in Summerset Isle became known as altmer

Yep.

Men became three the nedes, nords, and yokudans.

More like the Wandering Ehlnofey became Nedes, certain Akaviri, Atmorans and Yokudans. Then the Atmorans became Nords, the Nedes mixed with themselves and the Elves and eventually the Nords, the Yokudans migrated, and out of this eventual clusterf**k comes the modern races of men, who are all pretty mixed up with the exception of Redguards. Bretons, Nords and Imperials all share some common blood. Imperials have some slight Ayleid and Akaviri blood too.

The Nedes are those that remain in Tamriel

Nords are those that settle in Atmora but later migrate to Tamriel after the freezing of atmora that changes it into wasteland plagued by civil war.

Almost right. They didn't become Nords until they settled in Tamriel.

What about the rest of my post? Is it correct?

Yes and yes.

For some reason this forum lost some of my last replies.

Yokudans are those that settle in yokuda but later migrate to Tamriel after yokuda sank.

They became Redguards as a result of their exodus. The RaGada or Warrior Wave led the exodus, and their race became more warlike once reaching Tamriel.

Later due to the mixing between nordic blood and nedes blood, Imperial came into existance.

Imperials are a melting pot culture. Many families have Ayleid and Akaviri bloodlines as well.

While on high rock due to breeding between mer and men (the nedes) Breton came into existance.

Very gradually.

Now if this is correct where does Khajiit came from?

Khajiit are the Forest People who stayed loyal to Azurah.

And Maormer. And Khajiit. And Ayleid.

Ayleid is practically aldmer that migrate to Cyrodiil correct?

Most of the Dwemer settled there, but some settled in parts of Skyrim and Hammerfell.

That's the short version yeah.

Azura cursed them because Almalexia,Vivec,Sotha Sil use the heart of Lorkhan to become god and killed Nerevar because he refused to do it right?

Not just adaptation - they were Forest People who chose to worship Y'ffre rather than Azura. Unlike their cousins the Khajiit they took a different form. Also, they took mannish wives.

So the green pack with Y'ffre affect their apperance too?

Right.

Yep.

Thanks for the clarification.

Ayleid is practically aldmer that migrate to Cyrodiil correct?

Yes and no. They were isolated enough that they began to form their own culture. Some of them may have worshiped Daedra, and it was implied the name Akatosh was used instead of Auriel for their chief deity.

Azura cursed them because Almalexia,Vivec,Sotha Sil use the heart of Lorkhan to become god and killed Nerevar because he refused to do it right?

Yes. That's it in a nutshell. They killed her favorite pet and they spit in the face of the Daedra.

So the green pack with Y'ffre affect their apperance too?

Before the Green Pact the Forest People had no stable form, despite being Aldmer. They solidified into a type of Elves afterwards.

What about Kothringi?

They were Nedes with a unique skin tone. Many of them interbred with the Ayleid slaves and some trace amounts of their blood exists in modern Imperials. The rest were wiped out by a horrendous Flu in Black Marsh. One boat of them escaped but could not be allowed port anywhere in Tamriel, so their race has never been seen since.

They were basically just men, though.

Actually, I believe there was a report about a Kothringi ship being spotted not too long ago. The source eludes me though (Or I am remembering something that never existed.)
