Has this situation ever happened to you?

Well on my previous playthrough I helped the powder gangers and I enjoyed it so i was going to do the same this playthrough. The only regret really was that Goodsprings gets wiped out.
Well this time I agreed to help ringo starr with all the intention of betraying him. I got greedy and wanted to complete sunny miles optional quests; armour off Chet, medial supplies off doc etc so I did them all and then I spoke to Cobb the powder ganger.

I offered to help but he said he didn't trust me. This pissed off a little as I thought that I'd lost my chance now at helping Eddie at the NCRCF. So I killed him in frustration and took all his stuff. So I waited thinking rather soon the others would show up but never did. I ventured out of goodsprings expecting the powder gangers to be hostile but they werent. So I was able to stroll into the NCRCF with no problems. And thanks to this mistake I made Goodsprings remains intact too. Just thought I'd share as I was really happy with this outcome.
I still killed ringo I'm a loot [censored].
