Need help deciding about PC.

I was planning on buying Morrowind goty for the 360 but noticed that a lot of people recommend the PC version. I have no experience with PC games, so I don't know how much trouble I would have with it. Should I still go for PC? And would anyone who is a PC veteran mind if I sent them my laptop specs, so you could tell me how the game would fare on my laptop?

I would definately say go for the PC version because the mods out for the pc version add many times the original content (and with similar if not greater quality in many cases). If you go for the morrowind Sounds and Graphics overhaul mod, the game can be somewhat intensive on a modern systen, but honestly, if that's not your cup of tea, the vanilla graphics will be a breeze to support on almost any system (the game being ten years old now). I would highly recomend going for the Overhaul mod though, as it is incredible and has options for system specs and even the worst setting is far and away better then vanilla.

I'm far from an expert, but I'd say that almost any PC made in the last 7 or so years could handle Morrowind. I'm playing on my 3-year-old laptop, which is designed for work rather than gaming. I can run it very well, including mods such as better bodies. Haven't tried with graphic-enhancing mods, but I'm assuming that will be fine as well.

Mine is only a year or two older, sounds like it would work fine. Thanks.
EDIT: @Eldrig, I'll try that out when I get it for PC.
