Possible quest related crash

Something in my game environment causes a crash, almost every single time (including on new games), at one specific point. Specifically, when I go to Canturbury Commons for the first time, the Antagonizer and Mechanist's troops fight... and then a CTD.

I've tried a number of things -- disabling any mods that have anything to do with the area (not many), tried disabling some other mods (doing a complete mod-by-mod disabling would be challenging with the way my setup is), I've tried going there at different levels (resulting in different level spawned "troops" for each side), etc...

Nothing seems to work.

The crash specifically happens about 95% of the time right when the fight ends and/or as the survivors start running off (the other 5% of the time, it happens during the fight, before they start to run / while there are still a couple of "troops" left). The way that it happens / the timing of it, leads me to believe that there is something related to the quest status that is causing the crash, or some flag that is being set when that event is done. I don't have any mods that should be impacting that quest, so I'm not sure exactly where to look...

However, one thought comes to mind: Is there a console command I could use to artificially tell the game that that event has already happened, and/or to forcibly advance me to a further point in that quest?

Right now, I'm essentially cut off from Canturbury entirely - as anytime I go there (if nothing else, because I want to upgrade the caravans), I get a CTD. :(
