Mod Detective XXIV

Note: Since TES Search can't search at the moment I suggest that you search on MMH first before posting here and use this link to list all mods an author has on MMH. There is also a special priority about the http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1393078-whats-happening-with-elrics/ site.

The Mod Detective threads were started up by GrayskiesRooster to help folk find mods that are missing, hard to locate, obscure or not available on public download sites.

General Enquiries
This is not intended as a general enquiries thread. It is assumed that you are trying to find a specific mod, that you have made serious efforts to look for it yourself and that you will provide some identifying information so others can help you. Or as Gren put it:
Just as you go to a detective only when you are looking for a particular person (e.g., "Mary Sue Robinson, age 34, from Oakland, CA"), this thread is for *relocating* a specific mod you had or had seen before but cannot now find. General inquiries ("I am looking for a mod that makes all Bosmer green") deserve their own thread, because they often generate more discussion than a simple "I cannot find that mod by Palinurus which allows you to buy mini-guar; does anyone know where it is?" query.
So, if you want to know if such-and-such kind of mod exists or which mods other folk think are suitable for your purpose please ask those questions in a new and separate thread.

mw.modhistory.com/search-au- "author" >> http://mw.modhistory.com/search-au-Leonardo - can be found in any http://mw.modhistory.com/download--284 on MMH, but if you have a problem with the links on MMH then let us know so they can be fixed.

Before You Post Here
Please do your best to find the mod yourself. Most 'missing' mods can be found on http://mw.yacoby.net/ http://www.tessearch.com/ and http://www.fliggerty.com/ http://mw.modhistory.com/. Even the http://wayback.archive.org/web/ can sometimes find lost mods.

Also previous Mod Detectives threads are worth checking as your question may already have been answered.

Psyringe's excellent http://www.yacoby.net/es/forum/12/7235431183639320.html , is a useful read before you ask here.

................................................................

Please repost here any unanswered specific requests from the previous Detectives threads.

I tend to upload mods that have been recovered (currently some four hundred mostly older mods) to http://www.fliggerty.com/ http://mw.modhistory.com/, and encourage others to find permanent download homes for their rediscoveries.

................................................................

Here are mods that are still missing. If anyone can come up with them it would be appreciated:

Korath's Herbalism Minimal. ....
.... some mods made by Silver_Falcon:
silver's drowhead or something
... Mage Telvanni Items by sk0rponok?

As many of you know, Fileplanet has gone down and as a result, a lot of download links on Planet Elder Scrolls now lead to 404 errors pages. Some of these mods could not be found anywhere else on the net. As of the last thread, we are still looking for the following:

Anything from Clavis, specifically the Architecture Resource packs. There is at least one I'd like to use.

Jeremy McGuinn's Knights of Tamriel armor mods. Only one of the set can be found on MMH, and his own site leads to Planet Elder Scrolls, which in turn leads to dead links at fileplanet.

At this point in Mod Detectives, it may simply be a matter of us searching our own mod collections and getting them back online if permissions allow.

Thanks!

Dana don't you worry about the permission for those mods since http://www.fliggerty.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=88&t=4461 already have a policy about how to preserve these mods, because I know we have all of Emma's and Grumpy's old mod versions backed up on MMH which is a restricted area for only MMH staff. I don't know exactly when but I do know that anyone how is uploading a mod to need to wait until MMH staff has approve the mod in less of 24 hours like the pending system there is on PES.

Since Fileplanet has being around for so long now I believe you can actually download mods there by using the Wayback Machine so it would be worth a try.

So far, I've located two of Clavis's tilesets:
Arched - originally from http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=2962
Hlaalu 2 - orignally from http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7344&id=3316

What I'm really interested in is the architecture pack.

For anyone willing to search your own files, her prefix is KEY-

MMH history has a lot more than that, they're just not available for download. Specifically, I was looking for the indoril/ mournhold tileset, which was part of the architecture pack, but while I was at it I started trying to find all of them.
